"I- I didn't mean to." You choked out. You were crying to your best friend about the break up. It had only been a few days, the wound was still pretty fresh.
The two of you were together for a year but you should have known better.
"It was a moment of weakness." You told her. "I didn't mean to.. Tell him my secrets. To fall for him."
"Take a nap and we'll talk more when you wake up." She left the room, closing the door behind her.
But you didn't sleep. You cried until no tears came out. It wasn't the first time since he left that you've done that. It wouldn't be the last either.
After you were done crying, she helped you get rid of all the clothes that reminded you of him and donated them for you.
You could mope all you wanted, but you were going to need to move on eventually.
