I should really be studying for psych right now.

I'm sorry this is kinda sad.

These are going to take longer to get out because my first round of exams are coming up next week. I also have three other stories to update. So yeah.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You sat at Brett's kitchen table, sipping on some bad coffee. You never could figure out how to make it right so your boyfriend ended up giving you a kuerig for your birthday. He was getting sick of having to either drink it or remake it himself.

"Hey babe," Brett rubbed his eyes as he padded into the kitchen. You gave a half smile, going back to drinking the horrible coffee you attempted to make.

"I have to go meet up with a few guys but after, why don't we go to lunch?" He kissed your forehead and went off to the mud room to get something he threw in the dryer last night.

"Yeah."

You had never been the luckiest girl. Hell, you were one of the most unlucky person you knew. The pregnancy test last night proved it. Some might take it as a sign that you two should be together, but you wanted out of the relationship. Baby or no baby, you weren't going to stay any longer.

He didn't cheat. He didn't lie. He was perfect, but you just didn't have feelings for him and it wasn't fair to either of you anymore.

When he came home to you still in your sweats and a big t-shirt, he looked confused, "Do you not want to go out to lunch? We can stay in."

"No." You whispered, "We actually need to talk."

"What is it?" He sat down next to you on the couch.

"I'm pregnant." You waited to gauge his reaction before going on. "I'm keeping the baby." He looked relieved.

"Good."

"But I think we should break up."

The confused look returned to his face, "I- I don't understand. Why?"

You though about how to say this without completely breaking his heart. Tears started to wet the corners of your eyes and you had to look at your hands. "I love you, Brett. I really do. I just don't have romantic feelings for you anymore. I'm sorry."

The silence was the worst part. You couldn't look him in the eye so you had no idea what he was thinking.

"Can you just do one thing for me?" He finally asked.

"What is it?"

"Move in with me. Just until the baby is born and a little after. I won't bring home any girls, I just need to make sure you and the baby are fine."

"That's not a good idea." Or maybe it was. Maybe you would realize that you still did have feelings for him and things would work out.
