"Daddy! I fell." Your little girl cried to Beau. "Make it better."
He lifted her onto his lap and kissed her forehead before wiping off the dirt on her knee. "Looks like we're going to have to cut it off." Your husband told your daughter, making her more upset.
"Beau."
"I'm kidding. You'll be fine in a few minutes but you should stay here with us just to make sure."
He talked with Sophie about their plans for tomorrow. They were going to Disneyland, you were going to the spa. You definitely got the better end of the deal.
"Can we meet princesses?"
"We can meet all the princesses you want."
"Mommy, can you come with us?"
"Mommy has plans," Beau reminded her. "This is our daddy daughter date, remember?"
"Oh right."
"How about I come to the park after my plans and eat with you guys and watch the fire works?"
"Okay!"
