It was finally summer which meant you and Jack were in Boston together again. Going to Stanford on a soccer scholarship really put a damper on plans when Jack got drafted to Buffalo. You were hoping that you would get an offer from one of the New York teams to play after university.
He was waiting for you at the airport with your favorite flowers and a kiss. You two hadn't seen each other since you spent your spring break basically following him around the country.
"I've missed you."
"I've missed you more."
"Come on, I have a lot planned for us today." You looked up at him. "Don't worry it involves a nap."
The two of you dropped off your things and went to his place by the ocean. Though you wouldn't be living together, you knew that you'd be spending a lot of time there with him. Besides, there wasn't anything better than playing soccer on the beach.
"Do you want to train with me this summer?"
"Jack I don't-"
"I asked my trainer and he said it's fine."
You sighed, "You're just trying to get me to spend all of my time with you, aren't you?"
"Maybe."
"Well, it's working."
