Dougie Hamilton

Your boyfriend has planned on taking you to the team dinner tonight. You were excited to see all the guys again. The last time you saw them was when Dougie had brought you to the rink one day to skate and that was when he night he introduced you to everyone.

"You look beautiful." He told you as he held out his arm to lead you to the car.

"Thank you. You look pretty good yourself." You blushed as you walked out into the cold air. You thought about bringing a jacket and wished you had.

The two of you say sat down at a table with a few of the Bruins and their dates. Dougie was off getting you a drink when Adam started talking to you.

"So you must be the girl from Chicago that Hamilton always talks about."

"Um.. No. I'm actually from his hometown." You corrected him. "We've been dating for a while now."

"Oh. That must just be just a side girl. I wouldn't worry about it then."

Worry about it is exactly what you did. Your boyfriend kept asking you what was wrong, but you wouldn't say a word until you got back to his place.

"Douglas what the hell?" You screamed across the kitchen, "You said you've been faithful."

You barely got in the house before bringing up something you had been waiting to yell at him for all night.

"Babe. I have."

"You lying sack of shit," You took off yout flat and threw it across the room at him. He ducked and it barely missed his head. "Adam fucking told me."

"Told you what?" Dougie stood up straight, confused at what you had just said.

"That you had some other girl on the side." You were hysterical, but who wouldn't be when one of your boyfriend's teammates told you that he was being unfaithful even after two years. "I came to visit you and you pull something like this? Fucking ridiculous."

He had surprised you with tickets to the plaoff games and paid for the flight to Boston. You were in tears and he was plain ol' confused.

"Adam can be such a prick. Why would you listen to him?"

You hesitated. You really had no idea why you didn't just ask Dougie instead of freaking out for no reason. "I - I don't know."

"Babe. You know I love you. You know I would never do anything to hurt you, right?" You nodded your head and wiped the tears from your eyes. "Good. Now let's get changegd and go get ice cream or something." He brushed his lips against your forehead and you felt a little better.
