It was a rainy day and Brock didn't have to do anything. It was a rare day and you wished that it was nicer out.
"We can just stay in and watch movies." Your boyfriend suggested. "It is perfect weather for coffee and cuddling."
"But I wanted to go for a hike." You whined.
"We can go for one the next time it's nice out. I'll give up my nap for you."
"I guess." You gave up and cuddled into your boyfriend. You knew you were going to fall asleep but didn't really care.
You had a ton of homework to do, but it could wait. Moving to Vancouver with Brock was one of the best decisions you've made but you did miss North Dakota. It had always been home but your boyfriend made sure you felt the same way as if you were back in the states.
"Do you ever regret moving with me?"
"Only on days I'm mad at you." He laughed at your honesty. "I just really miss my parents."
"I know. But season will be over soon and we'll be back in the midwest."
