Jeff Skinner

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you enjoy this special update. I was in the mood to write something Christmassy and involving Jeff Skinner so this is my Christmas present to you :)

Your favorite part of the holidays, besides the food, was the decorating. You loved all the lights and the sparkly ornaments. This year, the best part was having your boyfriend, Jeff, to help you.

After practice one day in December, you had him go shopping with you before going back to your place and making hot chocolate and decorating the tree. It was really cliche, but you lived for that kind of stuff around the holidays.

"No, no you have to put on the ribbon after." You instructed him.

"Oh okay." He laughed, wrapping you in the ribbon that was supposed to go on the tree. You tried being mad at him, but his dimples were showing and you were never able to resist them.

"You're such a dork." You leaned over to kiss his nose before he unwrapped the ribbon from you and kept helping put the ornaments on your tree.

"So are we doing this at my place too?" He asked, making sure you didn't fall off the ladder while trying to reach the top part of the tree.

"I thought that would be roommate bonding for you guys. Right now, this is me spending much needed time with my boyfriend."

Jeff pulled you close and kissed you, pressing his forehead to yours after he was finished. You tried to hide your smile but couldn't. 

"So what if I gave you your Christmas gift early?" He asked, leading you to your bedroom.

"I still haven't wrapped yours, so I hope you don't expect anything from me." You admitted, laughing to yourself. Even though you loved Christmas and everything about the holidays, you were horrible at wrapping gifts. It wasn't something you were able to pick up on.

"No, you'll get something on Christmas too, but I didn't know how I was going to hide this one until then." 

He opened the door and two black lab puppies came bounding towards you. Jeff was grinning ear to ear, pretty satisfied with himself.

"They're so cute Jeff! But why two?"

"Because they were the last two left and I couldn't leave one."

"Aww Jeff." It was like him not to be able to break the last two of the litter 

"And look at them. They're so cute!" Your boyfriend was acting like a little boy again and it was nothing short of adorable. Chances are you would be having shared custody of the puppies. You hoped the two of you stayed together.

"Boys or girls?"

"Boys."

"So Fletcher and Angus?" You pulled two random names from the back of your mind. They seemed to fit pretty well so far.

"Perfect."

"So why dogs, Jeffrey?" You sat against the wall and he put his arm over your shoulder as the puppies played at your feet.

He sighed, somewhat laughing to himself, "Honestly? Because it's too soon for a ring, but dogs are always a good idea." You smiled, beaming at your boyfriend who was intently watching the puppies play with each other. "I love you."

"And I love you."
