You had been broken up for two months, but you would do it again in a heartbeat.
Flashback were racing through your mind. The lake. The trips. The games. Everything.
"I love you, baby." You blushed at him saying those three words for the first time.
"I love you, too."
There were so many memories that you didn't want to forget any of them. The break up was mutual, you were just growing apart as you graduated college and started law school.
"Jake I swear, if you throw me into the lake I will come for you." You screamed as he ran towards the dock. Before you knew it, you were in the water. "Oh it's on DeBrusk." You got onto the dock and ran to hug him.
You still had all your playoff jackets and weren't going to get rid of them. He didn't want you to, either. You took the pictures down from your walls, sticking them in a box with the rest of his things. You'll look at them sometime in the future and remember him.
You would do it all again, even though the two of you didn't make it.
