"Babe what did I say about turning off SVU?"
"Not to do it unless there's an emergency."
"So what's the emergency?"
"The zoo. We have to go. Now." He laughed. You sighed. It wasn't something you wanted to do, but then again you never said no to seeing cute animals.
You rolled your eyes as he helped you off the couch. You were three episodes from being caught up. Why couldn't you go tomorrow?
"Come on we haven't been on a date since before season started. You know you want to see the red pandas."
"Do I get a stuffed animal?"
"You can have whatever you want baby." He kissed your nose and let you change out of your pajamas into something different.
It was warm out, for late October. So you wore a long sleeved dress with a blanket scarf. But no matter how cute you dress, there was no covering your full leg brace you had to wear most times when leaving the house.
"You have a connective tissue problem. Remember you have no control over that." He kissed your forehead one last time before helping you into his truck. "I love you and that's all that matters. Now let's go see some pandas."
