"I-I ca-can explain." You trembled out, flinching once Bela appeared next to her sister in a swarm of flies.

"We don't want to hear it."

"Please..." You whispered, tears filling your eyes as Cassandra's sickle sliced at your arms.

They had been doing this for a while now — you had honestly lost track of time — and it became harder to keep your eyes open. Your eyes drooped slowly, making you fight the tired feeling currently washing over you.

'I need to see her again.'

A hiss was heard from Cassandra once your eyes shut, making you snap them open again. You tried to ignore the blood trailing down your body and the burning pain you felt all over. You had hoped that once you stopped screaming, they'd stop their punishment but it seemed like this time, they were actually trying to kill you.

'I don't blame them; I made their little sister cry.'

It pained you to remember that, finally causing the tears to roll down your cheeks. The pain from your wounds was nothing compared to the squeeze in your heart when you remembered her muffled cries, or the way she'd avoid you afterwards. Your tears seemed to shock the two vampires, seeing as how every time they'd torture you, they'd become less and less frequent.
