"Miranda," Mia whispered to the sleeping woman next to her, a smile spreading across her face when the other woman simply buried her face in the pillow. "Perfect."

The brunette carefully got out of bed — cringing slightly at the noise before glancing back and seeing Miranda still asleep. A relieved sigh left Mia as she stood and slowly made her way out of the room. Mia's feet carried her through the halls and to Miranda's study, where she locked the door behind her before picking up the phone and dialing a number.

"Alcina?"

"Yes, Mia?" Alcina's voice held amusement, causing Mia's lips to twitch upwards momentarily.

"Is everything ready? Miranda's still asleep."

"Nearly," Alcina hummed as she swirled the wine in her chalice. "The girls have been looking forward to this."

"I bet," Mia giggled, the memory of the triplet's reactions to the news resurfacing. "And is... Is Eva doing okay?"

"Yes, she is. You know, you can always convince her to make 'Rose' her middle name. It's obvious to us that Mother Miranda would do anything to see you happy."

"How can you-."

"Mia. Trust us on this."

"Fine," Mia sighed heavily into the phone, pulling a chuckle out of Alcina. "I gotta go wake Miranda. We'll be there in a few, tell Isa not to start on breakfast without me."

"They're simply getting everything ready, they know the rules."

The two laughed before exchanging their goodbyes. Mia left the study after hanging up the phone, making her way back to her shared room with Miranda. The brunette made her way to the blonde woman, brushing some hair away from her face before planting a kiss on her cheek. Miranda's lips twitched into a smile as her eyes fluttered open, ice-blue eyes settling on the brunette and filling with a warmth Miranda didn't know she still had in her.

"Morning, my love," Miranda hummed before pecking Mia's lips. "How long have you been up?"

"A few minutes," Mia dismissed the question before sending Miranda a smile. "Now, get up so we can get ready."

"For what?"

"You'll see!"

One Hour Later

Mia's grin widened as they entered Castle Dimitrescu, her grip on Miranda's hand tightening momentarily. Before the blonde woman could question her, however, the sound of flies buzzing filled the room as the giggles of the triplets reached their ears. A soft smile appeared on Miranda's face when they stepped out of their swarms, effectively distracting her so Mia could slip into the kitchen.
