'What have I gotten myself into by being here?'

Six Months Later

You had been staying at castle Dimitrescu for nearly six months now and every day you and the ladies of the castle would up the teasing. Currently, you were hiding in your room from Cassandra, knowing her teasing was only going to drive you to cave and beg her for release. A knock at your door made you jump, heat rushing to your cheeks when the sound of buzzing filled the air. You got off of your bed and made your way to the door, opening it to see Daniela on the other side.

"Remember how you promised to let me touch your wings...?" Daniela asked softly, refusing to meet your gaze. "Do you..."

"I do have the energy." You giggled, stepping out of the way for her to enter the room. "Just remember that they are sensitive so, you'll have to be gentle."

"I will! I promise!"

You laughed quietly and shut the door once she was inside, keeping your back to her as you took a deep breath, the cracking of bones and the ripping of cloth filled the air. A soft groan left you as your wings stretched out, the soft gasp from Daniela causing you to bury your face in your hands. You hadn't ever let your wings out like this before -- typically fully shifting despite that taking more energy.

The soft footsteps of the vampire drew nearer to you before you felt light touches to your wings. Your body tensed for a moment before a quiet purring left her, relaxing you as she continued to feel your wings. Her cold body moved closer to your warm one and she rested her head in the space between your wings, soft giggles leaving her as her fingers ran through your feathers.

A low purring left you as your feathers fluffed up, earning louder purring from Daniela as she nuzzled into your back. The two of you stayed like that for a few minutes before your door opened, revealing the other two Dimitrescu daughters. Heat rushed to your cheeks as they took in the scene, their little sister moving away from your back and smiling at her sisters.

"Hi Cass! Hi Bela!" She chirped, continuing to run her fingers through your feathers. "Their feathers are so soft! Come feel!"

"Are we allowed to?" Bela asked you, earning a nod from you.

"Of course you're allowed. But, I would like to at least sit down first." You laughed nervously, moving over to your bed.

Once you were sat down on the bed, the girls joined you and began feeling your feathers, muttering about how soft they were. You smiled at their compliments, your heart skipping a beat as they all carefully nuzzled into your wings. A few minutes passed and your eyelids grew heavy, causing your head to droop as sleep tried to pull you in. The girls moved slightly and pressed kisses to your cheeks, snapping you out of your sleepy daze.

"You should sleep." Bela whispered, watching her sisters get off of your bed. "We'll come and get you once dinner is ready."

"Fine, fine." You giggled, groaning as your wings moved back and disappeared again. "I'll get some sleep."

"We'll make sure no one else enters your room too." Cassandra promised, watching you lay down.

You smiled at them and curled into your pillow, letting your eyes shut and immediately being welcomed into sleep. Once darkness took over your senses, a dim light appeared and danced in front of you, forming the outline of someone. You waited for something to be said or done but, when nothing happened, you cleared your throat and took a step towards the figure.

"It's been a long time, little witchling." The voice of your master called out, bringing a small smile to your face. "You've made a name for yourself in the village and it appears even Miranda approves of you -- I wasn't sure she would. But, you must decide. Alcina, or her daughters."

"What?" You asked softly, anxiety coursing through you. "What do you mean?"

"You must choose who you love more. Alcina or her daughters. You cannot have them all. Even you, as a very powerful witch, cannot handle all of them."

"...Watch me." You growled, glaring at the light figure.

"If I'm right, you must choose."

"And if I'm right, you have to tell me who my mother is."

"...Deal." The figure said after a while, clearly confident you'd lose. "Good luck."

You woke to your door opening, a frown on your face as you sat up and mulled over the dream you had just had. You were enjoying the time you spent with everyone but, if you genuinely couldn't handle all of them and had to pick either the girls or their mother, you weren't sure how you'd decide. The girls had more spare time but, Alcina was much more intricate -- more layers to her considering the fact that she appeared to remember her life before the cadou.

A hand being placed on your shoulder snapped you from your thoughts, making you lock eyes with Bela. She was always the hardest to hide something from -- her nearly snatching the title of 'Informant' from Cassandra. Bela sat next to you and you let out a low sigh, telling her about the dream you had. As you finished, she sent you a weak smile, pressing a soft kiss to your cheek.

"The decision is yours but, you should tell the others too so everyone knows what's at stake." Bela whispered, placing a hand on your cheek.

"I will... I don't know the time frame I have but, I'm hoping I can win this deal. You all deserve love." You whispered, leaning into her touch.

"Don't stretch yourself too thin though, if you have to pick, we'll all understand. And we'll support whoever you decide to go with. Now, let's go eat."

You stood up with Bela, a faint smile on your face as you walked hand-in-hand with her to the dining hall. Once you reached it and sat down, you waited for the maids to set the food in front of you all and head into the kitchen before explaining to the others what your dream was. Daniela and Cassandra looked upset at first but quickly hid it, small smiles on their face before their mother spoke up.

"Do me a favor, [Y/N]... If you do have to choose, pick my daughters over me." Alcina said, gold eyes staring into your soul. "As much as I love spending time with you, I'd rather the four of you be together and having my approval than me having to make sure someone new is good enough for my daughters."
