Pronouns: They/Them
Requested by: Zzzzzleeepyyyy
Ship: Reader x Alcina
Prompt: New maid joins and starts being a jerk (misgendering and offending the reader). Triplets and Isa get pissed — Alcina's reaction is up to me (the author)

Warning(s): Implied transphobia/misgendering (it's only implied because i completely forgot to add it until this was completed 💀)

"Yo," Isa called as they stepped out of a dark corner.

"Can you wear a bell if you're going to do that?"

"No," They deadpanned before flopping next to me. "...Has the new maid been nice to you? The triplets say-."

"Everything's fine," I cut them off and refocused on the sketch I was working on. "The new maids avoid me — don't worry."

Isa remained silent for a long time — making it obvious to me that they knew I was lying — before a soft sigh left them, bringing my attention to them as they stood and stretched. It hurt me to lie to them, but I also knew how angry they would get. When they first started, they were ecstatic to know I also used They/Them pronouns, allowing them to open up a bit more and quickly become my closest friend.

"Alright, I won't make you tell me," They murmured before glancing back at me, the red in their eyes fading as they placed a hand on my shoulder. "But just know, I'm here if you need to talk. I'd have a better chance at understanding everything than the rest of the castle."

"...You're gonna make me cry," I pouted before shaking my head. "Alci would've heard about it by now, trust me. You're overly worried for no reason."

"...Alright, I'll trust you on this one. But if I find out you're lying to me—."

"What are you gonna do? Pout?!"

"Yes."

"...OKAY! I'LL TELL THE TRUTH!" I sighed in exasperation. "There..."

I paused when the triplets entered, making me groan and roll my eyes. "All of you? Really?!"

"Yes, now continue," The four said in unison, making me sigh.

"Fine... The new maid... Keeps misgendering me."

Silence ensued — Isa being the first to speak up. "What was her name again?"

"Sierra... The uh—."

"Blonde American?" Cassandra finished for me, causing me to nod.

"Yeah, her," I whispered, sending them a sheepish smile. "You're not going to tell your mother, are you?"

The triplets shared a look before leaving in a swarm — leaving me with Isa whose eyes had returned to that deadly red color they get when they're angry or protective. In this case, it's both. "...Why didn't you tell us — me — sooner?"

"I was... holding out hope that she'd learn."

"Some people never change. Come on, let's get you to the lady... I'll convince the girls not to kill her so their mother can talk to her, but you have to be the one to tell lady Dimitrescu."

I sighed in exasperation. They were right and I knew it — if anyone else told Alcina, she'd be so furious that she'd lash out at the messenger as well. I followed them through the halls, fidgeting with the necklace Alcina asked Isa to make me. 'Wait... How long did it take them to make this?!'
