"Wake up," Bela's voice reached your ears, causing a soft groan to escape you as your eyes fluttered open. "Morning!"

"Why do I have to get up?" You grumbled and shut your eyes again. "I don't work for your mother anymore, I don't have to get up early."

Silence followed and you internally smiled, letting sleep pull you back in. Before you could fall asleep again, however, a weight was felt on your abdomen followed by cold lips on your neck. You let out a chuckle as you opened your eyes again, tilting your head when you felt her fangs.

"Why are you waking me this early?"

"I have a present for you," Bela murmured before pulling away from your neck. "And before you ask, it's not sex. That's later."

"I'm fine with 'later'," You chuckled and sat up. "I told you not to get me anything. You saying 'yes' was enough!"

"You got me a ring, I had to get you something too."

"Bela-."

"You'll love it, trust me."

"Fine, what is it?"

Bela moved off of your lap and swarmed to her closet, giggling to herself as she grabbed something. Once she returned to you, she handed you a small wrapped box, a wide smile on her face. After pecking her lips, you unwrapped the box and opened it, smiling at the heart-shaped locket at the end of the gold chain. You opened the locket and your smile widened at the picture on one side, letting your eyes shift to the engraving.

"To my goddess," You said with a smile. "May our love burn eternally like the flames of Tartarus."

"Isa's idea," Bela murmured with a flustered buzz. "Said you'd appreciate it since those flames never die."

"Remind me to curse them for a day."

Bela giggled as you put the necklace on, her hands cupping your face a moment later to pull you in for a kiss. You smiled as you returned the kiss, pulling her back into your lap and snaking your arms around her waist. Once she broke the kiss, Bela rested her forehead against yours and examined the ring you gave her at midnight — the ring you proposed with.

"I still can't believe this was your gift to me," Bela giggled. "Gods sure know how to surprise someone."

"It's a talent we all master at a young age," You mused and smiled at the ring. "Isa forged it for me."

"Is there anything they can't do?"

"Draw," You snorted before laying down again. "Should we get ready for breakfast?"

"Probably. The rest of the lords will be here soon and we need to give the news."

"I'll run the bathwater then," You groaned and lightly tapped her thigh. "Up."

Bela rolled her eyes before moving off of you, letting you get out of bed. As you walked passed her, Bela giggled and brushed over the red marks on your back before fixing your shirt. You rolled your eyes and entered the bathroom, running the bathwater with a smile on your face.

'Engaged to Bela... What more could I ask for?' You thought before calling for Bela, letting her know the bath was ready. Once everything was ready for the bath, you undressed and climbed in, waiting for your fiancé to join you. Bela didn't make you wait long, thankfully, and was quick to get in the bath.

After your bath and getting dressed, you and Bela made your way to the lounge, gaining Daniela's attention. She swarmed over with a wide and hopeful grin, a squeal leaving her when Bela showed her the ring. Cassandra swarmed over after entering the room, a soft gasp leaving her when she saw it.

"So that's what they were working on," She muttered with a smile. "I thought Hunter asked for it, not [Y/N]. Either way, I'm happy."

"As am I," Daniela giggled. "I can't wait for Hunter to propose."

"Some day," Bela promised her with a smile. "She's madly in love with you, just give her time."

"I know," Daniela smiled. "For now, we celebrate your news!"

You guided them to the dining hall and sent their mother a smile, leading Bela to her to show off the ring. Alcina had been in on it since you had the idea to propose, making her genuine smile melt your heart. Once you all took your seats, Hunter and Isa wheeled in the food and drinks before taking their seats.

"Well, everyone knows already but, we might as well say it," You started and took Bela's hand, interlocking your fingers. "I proposed last night — at midnight — and Bela said yes. Bela and I are engaged now."

After the verbal congratulations ended, you all ate breakfast and told stories, the atmosphere of the room making your heart swell with love. A maid entered toward the end of your story with news of the lords being here, prompting everyone to leave the dining hall to greet them. Once everyone was inside and in the lounge, you made the announcement again.

"As you all know, Bela and I have been dating for about four years now. Well, I decided to propose last night," A chorus of gasps filled the room.

"And I said yes," Bela finished, earning a round of congratulations and cheers.

When you all made it to the opera hall, Isa took a seat at the piano before they began playing a song, making you offer a hand to Bela. Once she placed her hand in yours, you moved further onto the floor and began a slow dance, holding her close to your body. Bela rested her head on your shoulder, bringing a warm smile to your face.

"How was this winter for you so far?" You teased, knowing the girls hated winter due to their weaknesses.

"The best winter I've had since getting the cadou."

"Only the best for my love," You smiled and placed a kiss on her head. "And you'll get the best for the rest of eternity."

"As will you, my love."
