the first part of this will be in cassandra's pov. (all italics = dream)

also, there's always a reason for me writing a character as "bitchy" and it's typically elaborated on in a part i plan on uploading. Alcina's an overprotective mother with unconventional ways of protecting her daughters, so yes, she is being a bit unreasonable but it's explained why in this part. i feel like i have to remind everyone that i never write the Dimitrescu family as "bitchy" without giving a valid reason behind it, especially when that character is Alcina, so there's no reason to point out that the character is a "bitch" in a certain part.

"I'm so sorry, [Y/N]," Daniela whispered next to your ear before the blade slid across your flesh, sending blood everywhere as your pained, muffled screams filled the air. "We tried begging mother to reconsider."

Cassandra POV

I planted a soft kiss on [Y/N]'s cheek and waited for her eyes to flutter open, letting a small smile take over my features when her [E/C] eyes opened and shifted over to me. A sleepy smile spread over her face as she shifted slightly and pressed a kiss to my cheek -- burying her face in my neck shortly after. I pulled her closer until she was laying on me, the soft giggle that left her managed to make me feel alive again -- even if it was just for a split second.

"Buna dimineata draga." I muttered before she sat up, watching as she rubbed the sleep from her right eye. "It's your day off, right?"

"Mhm," She yawned out and stretched before she laid down again, resting her head on my chest. "But I'm still going to have to leave before your family wakes up... Just once, I'd like to wake up next to you and not have to leave so soon."

"I promise I'll tell them soon. It's just... Mother has unconventional ways of making sure our feelings are real -- considering how long it's been since any of us have felt emotions such as love."

"I believe you and I'm not upset about it, I just like how clingy you get in the morning when I move even just a little bit away from you."

"That doesn't happen."

"Cass, the last time I moved away from you was because I had to use the bathroom and you made me bring you with me otherwise you'd bite me and pout." She laughed out, lacing her  fingers with mine before bringing my hand up to kiss the back of it. "One day this will be our forever."

"Yeah, it will be." I breathed out with a smile, pressing a kiss to her head. "I just need to make sure they all know that I'm serious about you."
