"Mama! Mom!"

"Your son," I grumbled against Isa's neck.

"I see him," The smile in Isa's voice made me crack an eye open. "You should look."

"Five more minutes."

"He's going to teleport on top of you."

"He's light."

"Just look," Isa laughed, waiting for me to move away from their neck.

I opened my other eye and sat up, gasping in awe at the display of breakfast, balloons, and two cards. "Did you do this for us?"

"With Mommy's help!" Costin giggled as Hunter waved from the doorway.

"He insisted on showing you this today before I took him to see the triplets."

"I'm glad I woke up for this," I laughed as Costin teleported into my lap. "You know, this is my first Mother's Day. And it's all thanks to you — and Isa, I guess."

"I'm right here," They pouted while Costin giggled and hugged me. "He's a traitor."

"Nu-uh! Mom, tell Mama!"

"My son is no traitor," I huffed, hugging Costin's head against my shoulder. "Now, you apologize or we're not going on our date later."

"...Fine. I'm sorry I called you a traitor, Sparky."

"I no spark!"

"Yes, you do. Not like Zeus's sparks. Think — when Mommy used to make stars for you."

"Oh!" Costin giggled. "I Sparky!"

After a quick breakfast, Hunter and Costin left — spending Mother's Day with four moms instead of two parents is way more fun as a kid — leaving Isa and me to have the entire day together. I hummed as I changed my clothes, sparing a glance at Isa when they got out of the shower. 'Never tire of this view,' I thought to myself as I watched droplets of water cascade down their body. 'They're the child of a god all right.'

Isa grabbed their towel and dried off before getting dressed, only stopping to look at me when they grabbed their binder. I rolled my eyes and left the bathroom, laughing at the sound of them bursting into flames. 'I'm in love with an idiot. One would think that Isa would be used to me seeing them naked, but I suppose it's going to take more than almost a year for that to happen. And next week I head back to the castle to work. I wish they'd visit more often again. They've just been so busy lately.'

"Okay, I'm ready for our date," Isa hummed, stepping out of the bathroom in their suit. "And you're sure you want to go to an Olympian ball?"

"And pass up the opportunity to see you in this?" I purred as they walked closer. "Not a chance."

"I'm just saying; My uncles will be there."

"But, so will you."

"You have too much faith in me."

"Au contraire," I laughed. "It's you who has little faith. You lead their armies — defeated their father. You can take them if you need to."

Isa glanced away as their body began to glow. "Okay, okay, I get it. Ready to go?"

"As ready as I'll ever be."

Isa motioned to the door as fog rolled from under the door, making me hold onto their arm. 'Isa did say that the gods were ones for theatrics — and if history told me anything, it's that the Greeks knew how to party and put on a show.' I walked through the door with them as it opened, gasping at the giant ballroom. A gust of wind blew passed me — the tray moving with it causing me to look in the direction it went.
