It was now Wednesday and Marshall and I had spent the whole time together. He had even went with me, to get some clothes from Ronnie's and it surprised me to see, that they got along well again.
We had basically locked us in the house and by now had sex on every surface possible. I mean, we had a lot of time to catch up.
Right now we were in the kitchen, and tried to decide what we would eat for dinner, when my cellphone started ringing. It was Ronnie.
"Hey Ronnie," I answered laughing and tried to get out off Marshall's grip around my waist. The fool, had pulled me to his body and was biting my neck repeatedly.
"Tina? Oh God..." she sobbed into the phone and immediately I knew something was horribly wrong. Ronnie doesn't hardly cry. I pushed Marshall off me and turned around to look at him. Trying to get to know what happened.
"Ronnie, what happened?" I asked her. Marshall had stopped and stood now with a question look in front off me.
"Tina.... I'm so sorry...." Ronnie started again. "I don't know how it could happen...."
"Bestie, calm down," I cutted her off and spoke calmly, but the knot that was forming in my stomach told me, that something horrible had happened. She sobbed a bit more and then said the words I never hoped to hear.
"Tina, it's Josh....." instantly I turned around and ran out off the kitchen, up the stairs and into the bedroom to get dressed.
"Ronnie, where is my son?" I asked her, pulling on my hoddie. By now Marshall was coming in and I guess because off the look on my face, he started to get dressed too. Ronnie didn't answer.
"Ronnie, where the fuck is my son?!" I yelled into the phone and Marshall's head shot up, when I mentioned Josh.
"Harper University Hospital." She stammered out. "Tina, I'm so...." I cutted her off immediately.
"I'll be there as fast as I can!" I grabbed my handbag and hung up. Running down the stairs with Marshall behind me.
"I'll drive, babe. Just tell me where." He said when we entered the garage.
"Harper University Hospital." I told him and we got into his car.
Marshall was driving like a maniac, but to me it felt like years till we got to the hospital. He parked the car, pulled his hoddie over his cap and we ran into the building, stopping at the reception.
"My name's Tina Keller, my son Josh had been brought in. I want to know where he is!" I got out, breathing heavily. But the god damn nurse, only looked at my fiancée who was standing beside me. I was about to explode.
"Yo, stop staring and answer my fiancé!" Marshall told her in a pissed tone. "Where the hell is our son?"

Our son......

"Tina!" Ronnie yelled from down the hallway and I turned towards her and walked off, only hearing Marshall telling the nurse.
"Thanks for nothing, bitch!"
"What happened?" I asked my best friend when I arrived in front of her and pulled her into a hug.
"I went to the park with him, we played and he ran off, so I would catch him and then.... then...." she started crying again and I pushed her lightly off me, holding her in arm length and cryed with her.
"What happened then?" Marshall asked calmly, standing at my side and rubbing my back.
"He stumbled and fell and hit his head on a stone...." she cryed even more. "There was so much blood and I called the emergency and they brought him here!" By now I had clutched my hands on my mouth.
"Where is he now?" Marshall asked on still calm.

Thank God he is here.....

"In there." Ronnie said and turned around, pointing to a door to her left.
"Do you know anything about his injuries?" Marshall asked again and in that moment the door opened and a doctor walked out.
"Miss Alvarado?" He looked at Ronnie and I jumped in.
"I'm Josh's mother. Can you tell me what is with my son? Can I see him?"  The doctor looked at me sadly and pointed to another door.
"Miss Keller, I think we should go in here to talk."
"Well, I don't think so! I want to see my son!" I told him aggravated and Marshall chimed in.
"I'm Miss Keller's fiancée Marshall Mathers," he looked at the doctor and stuck out his hand, which the doctor shook. "Can you please tell us about the condition of our son?!"
"Mister Mathers, we really should talk in private." The doctor stated and Marshall kissed my temple once before telling me softly.
"Beautiful, come on. Let's listen what the doctor has to say." I nodded and let him guide me on his arm into the room. We had entered the room and the doctor closed the door behind us. I looked at him impatiently and he swallowed once hard, before he started talking.
"Miss Keller, I am deeply sorry, to inform you that your son Josh has died due to....." I couldn't listen anymore and broke down right on the spot. Marshall only brought out a "oh my god", while Ronnie covered her face with her hands and cryed.

"Miss Keller..." the doctor tried again after a few minutes of me crying and I raised my head to look at him.
"I want to see him! I want to say Goodbye!" I said calmly and the doctor nodded. I turned to Marshall who stood beside me crying and reached out my hand. He took it and squeezed it tightly, before he walked out with me, following the doc into the room where my son was. Standing in front off the room, I took a deep breath to prepare myself for seeing my next beloved person dead in front of me. I nodded at the doctor and he opened the door. My beautiful boy was laying on a bed, covered up with a white blanket.
"Can I please have a minute alone?" I turned and looked at a crying Marshall, who nodded. I walked in, closed the door behind me and uncovered my son, so I could see his face.
"Hey baby!" I whispered and kissed his forehead, before I kneeled down before the bedside. "I so hoped I would see you growing up and seeing you break a lot of hearts." I took his lifeless hand in mine and kissed it. "But I guess the Lord needed another angel! I hope I had made you happy the last year and that you won't forget me. Because you are the first I want to see and hug, when I'll come to heaven! I will never forget you my sunshine. And now your Mommy and Daddy got you back! I love you Josh!" I got up and kissed his forehead once more and when I turned around, Marshall stood in the room. I haven't heard him coming in. I smiled sadly at him and reached out my hand again. He grabbed it and came over, bending down over Josh.
"Hey buddy! I know your Mommy and Daddy were waiting for you, but..." he had to stop and brushed some tears off his face. "But we would have wished you would have stayed with us a bit longer. There're a lot of people from mine and Tina's side up there, just tell them you were our son. They'll take care of you then!" I had started crying again, hearing him talking to Josh and I rubbed softly over Marshall's back, when he spoke his last words. "We will never forget you! Goodbye my son!"
