Christina's pov:

i had work today. fucking great. i got up out of bed and called alex. just to thank him for coming over on such short notice to comfort me.

"hey chris how'd you sleep?" he asked me through the phone.

"good how about you" i returned the question.

"good. i was thinking about you this morning. i figured i would call but you beat me to it" he giggled.

"yeah haha well i have to get ready for work i just wanted to say thank you" i said with genuine emotion audible in my voice.

"for what? for last night? don't worry about it. it's what friends do" i could hear his smile through the cell phone.

"okay thanks love you alex" i spoke.

"i love you too chris" he hung up.

i was very thankful to have at least one person that cared about me. my parents never did and i still can't tell weather mattia was telling the truth or not. i don't know. even if he was, i still need some time to think.

Alex's pov:

"yeah they broke up. how's the rest of the plan looking?" i asked jasmine over the phone.

"perfect. the plan is going great. talk to you later rosario" she hung up.

operation mattia is a go.
