Christina's pov:

i heard a knock from the door. i knew who it was. mattia came inside and pulled me into a hug. he held me tightly. oh how i've missed this.

"i'm sorry" he began. "i never cheated on you. i would never cheat on you. she just came onto me. i want you" he finished.

i let my face rest on his chest. i could feel his heart beating and his every inhale. i felt his arms embrace me into a protective hold. shortly after i felt his grip on me tighten into a loving clasp, i heard him whisper into my ear.

"i love you. and i always have" he told me.

i believed him. i believed that he didn't cheat on me. and i loved him too.

Jasmine's pov:

"did you get the file i faxed to you?" i asked alex over the cell phone.

"yeah i sent it to chris's mom" he told me.

our plan was working. the only step left to do was to get mattia to fall in love with me, and to get chris to fall in love with alex.

"you sent it to her mom? perfect" we ended the call.
