"Is everything okay?" Colby asked us, mostly to me, as we made our way towards them. "Yeah." I said. He raised his eyebrows at me so I smiled reassuringly and nodded, signaling everything was fine.

"Okay. Let's start then." Sam said with a shrug, but Colby still seemed uneasy. Like he wasn't sure if I was telling the truth. I didn't say anything though, just followed Sam back to the tents.

Once we got there, Sam set the camera onto the tripod and then pressed record. "Okay, now that we're all here and settled, time for the history. This is 'the Old Narrow Gauge Volunteer Trail'. A mouthful, I know." Sam said and we all laughed before he continued.

"Apparently this is a bike path that was created over the route of a former railroad that used to transport injured or sick veterans to a hospital called 'Togus', during the late 1800's and early 1900's. Now; I don't know why, but they stopped using it and so with it not being used, and neither the land, they thought to make it a bike trial. Why? I don't know." Sam said with a funny voice at the end as he read off of his phone.

We all laughed slightly at his voice, and then he continued. "Since it's construction, the path has tales of ghosts and encounters. Apparently some people say that the locals believe one of the many ghosts here is some dude named Bicycle Larry." Sam said.

"Who the hell names their kid that?" I asked and everyone laughed. "I honestly have no clue but anyways, apparently he disappeared in 2004 and was never found. Other than that, the only things reported are screams, orbs, and flashes. Although, with the screams, they never spotted anyone." He said.

"It says here that the most eerie part is a patch of wooden area near a brook slightly off the bike path. It says that people believe the area used to be a place where people practiced rituals and that no matter how much light there is, there's constantly a darkness surrounding it." He concluded, locking his phone and putting it in his back pocket.

Listening to that made chills run down my spine. "Holy shit dude, that's creepy." Colby said and rubbed his hands on his pants than ran his hand through his hair.

"Yeah, I'll link the website down below if you want to check it out but it's, wcyy.com for anyone who wants to know." Sam said.

"Okay, now that we know the history, let's get started, shall we?" Colby asked. "We shall." Gus said.

"So, what do we plan on doing? Walk around? Or just chill here?" I asked. "Well, how about we go find that patch and then if we don't find it or if it's nothing we can just come back and chill." Colby said with a shrug.

"Sounds good to me." I said and everyone agreed.

We walked for a good hour and a half, just goofing around, trying to find the path. We were about to give up when I felt a pull. But it wasn't physical, no, it was more like a feeling, like something wanted me to go there.

It was like something was directing me there. Which is weird considering the fact that we hadn't seen or heard that much.

"Alright, are you guys ready to head back?" Sam asked and I shook my head. "No, not yet." I said. "It's this way. We aren't far." I said then started walking the way I felt the pull.

It was like I couldn't control myself. I needed to see if I was just going crazy or if this would really lead us to the path.

"Scarlet. Wait what do you mean?" Colby asked as they quickly followed behind me.

I turned to them, waited for them to catch up, and then began explaining. "I have this feeling... there's this... pull. It's like something is telling me that the path is that way. I can feel it." I said and shook my head, turning on my heel and heading in the direction.

"Uh...okay?" Sam said as I heard them start to follow me.

Over the course of the next four minutes, they stayed behind me, whispering, probably about me, but I ignored it, eager to get there.

Not even five minutes later, the pull stoped. The little voice in my head telling me to keep going, stopped, and of course, we were met with a path and a brook.

"We're here." I said, turning back to look at their shocked faces.
