On and on, I ran. This... thing, chasing me. I tried calling out for help. For something to help me get away from whatever it was that was chasing me, but it wouldn't stop.

I kept running in circles, tears streaming down my face.

Normally, I don't get super scared when it comes to paranormal stuff. But I'm alone, with something chasing me.

It's one of my worst fears.

"COLBY! TOM! KATRINA! GUS! CALEB! SAM! SOMEONE PLEASE! HELP!" I screamed as I ran and sobbed. I heard the footsteps stop, but I kept running.

"Don't forget me." I heard the voice say, it consuming me all around. It wasn't just somewhere, it was everywhere.

"SCARLET!?!" I heard Colby yell. My eyes widen as I stopped. Is this something messing with me? Or is it really Colby. Oh god, please let it actually be him.

"COLBY!???" I yelled as I hunched over, trying to catch my breath and waiting for a response. "SCARLET!" I heard Colby yell again, it's really him.

I ran as fast as I could towards where had heard him. After a minute of calling after him, and him calling after me, I saw a bunch of flashlight.

Thank god.

"SCARLET!!" They all yelled. I ran to them, everyone but Gus coming into view. Once we were visible to each other, Colby came running towards me. I dropped my flashlight and threw myself into his arms, shaking terribly.

We stubbled a little bit with the force but neither one of us cared in this moment. We both clung onto each other tightly, not wanting to let go. "Oh my god." Colby breathed out.

I felt warm tears on my neck so I pulled away and saw that Colby had a few tears running down his face which absolutely broke my heart. I was crying as well, still breathing heavily. I whipped his tears away, and then my own.

We looked into each other's eyes for a second before he grabbed my face and pulled me in for a kiss. Butterflies swarmed my stomach as he removed one of his hands and put it on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck, digging one hand into his hair, pulling him closer.

After a few minutes, everyone's foot steps got closer and I rested my forehead on his, closing my eyes and him doing the same.

"Scarlet!" Caleb said. I pulled away and ran to my best friend, our bodies crashing as he held me tightly, but quickly pulling away, tears in his eyes.

"What's wrong?" I asked. "It's Gus." He said and my heart stopped. "W-what?" I asked and he took my hand, running to the tents. There he was, my best friend, out cold, skin pale, and blood all over his face and body.

Tears instantly spilled out of me as I ran to him and dropped onto my knees, shaking even more. "C-call 911." I choked back as I put his head in my lap.

"We already did, they're on their way. Should be here any minute." Tom said as everyone made their way over to us.

"W-what h-happened." I chocked back a sob as I looked at my best friend, who looked almost... no. I can't say that.

"We were looking for you, he thought he saw you and took off, so fast none of us could catch up. It was a trap, he didn't have a light and it was a little cliff. He screamed and we ran as fast as we could. He obviously didn't see you. He saw something pretending to be you." Caleb said, trying to keep his voice from cracking. It didn't work.

"Yeah speaking of that, where the hell did you go?" Colby asked, sounding angry. I looked up at him, his face was beet red, glaring at me.

It was so intimidating. "I was-" I was interrupted by sirens. I sighed of relief as I rested my forehead on Gus's. They rushed over and started checking him out, trying to help him, as I watched with tears.

I felt a hand pull my arm back a little bit and I yanked it back. I turned towards the person to see a very angry Colby. The hell?

"What the actual hell Scarlet?! I told you to stay with me! Especially after that dream!" He spat at me. Okay there must be a demon possessing him because this is not Colby.

"The hell?!" I asked. "Yo brother, calm down. I'm sure she didn't mean to get lost. Calm down brother, seriously. We have more important matters right now." Sam said as he walked over to Colby and put his hand on his shoulder.

Colby's eyes never left mine. "Yeah, because of her." He mumbled and looked me up and down. Well shit, that hurt like a bitch.

"W-what?" I asked, very hurt by his words. "Whoa brother, calm down. It is not her fault." Sam said with wide eyes.

Colby finally broke his glare from me to look at Sam dead in the eye.

"We'll, if it weren't for her, we wouldn't be looking for her for a full hour, and Gus wouldn't be hurt." He said harshly.

Was it really an hour?!

Was it really my fault that Gus was hurt?
