Watching the boy run off with the key, he had just handed him, the Mayor felt a grin twist upon his lips.

A sudden jab to his neck, startled the man as he glanced down to see a blade stationed by his collar threateningly. His twisted grin seemed to stretch farther up his face.

"What is such powerful being such as you, doing here?"

"Silence, pawn of death." Jinhua seethed with bitter hatred. Her stance stood the side with her arm up, pointing the katana, "Save me your jests and lies. I know who you serve."

"Oh really? I guess the past really stuck to you then." He cackled out, his eyes shifting to a ominous blue.

But just a few milliseconds later, his vision turned upside down, to his confusion. He then realized that the demoness kicked his feet from underneath him so fast that he couldn't comprehend that his body was spun into a terrible angle.

His form smacked right into the brick wall that hid them from public view. The alleyway is forever known for its secrecy, and violent prone streaks. Feeling something drip down his forehead, he reached up to touch the substance and saw the blood on his fingertips.

"I expected my head to come flying off at that speed... But it seems your abilities are still sealed away... Just like my master—!" He cackled out in a psychotic manner. His eyes swirling with a almost obsessed emotion that made him look like an entirely different abomination than what his master was.

Gritting her teeth, she struck down her sword straight through his leg and piercing the street beneath him.

He let out a strangled cry but was cut off by Jinhua planting her boot right down his nose. Hearing the satisfied crack of a broken nose, Jinhua leaned down with an inflamed gaze. Her golden orbs ostensibly glow in the dark alleyway as they leered down at him.

"You should've stayed down in the depths of hell...." She sneered with sudden drop of the temperature in the air.

At that Mayor leaned up with what little room he could have and gave snort, "You think I'm the only thing that had risen from its imprisonment...? A beast that would suit my master once she ascends from her tomb."

A clean cut from the Mayor's leg led to him screaming out in agony once again, but the tone he heard next was of no demoness but the voice of something deranged. Something that shouldn't have been let out.

"You dare..."

Even if he wasn't a actual mortal, the Mayor could feel his stomach twist in a sickening crunch. He could see his whole body light up on fire and burn for all eternity. The slow and agonizing death of a servant who hadn't followed their master's order.

"Bring a child into the mix of things....?"

Jinhua held her sword close to her face as she observed the small drip of blue blood trailing down the tip of her weapon. Her Cheshire gaze landed on him and at that moment he thought that he saw an endless void of flames standing before him. Crisp trees, the stench of burning flesh, and rotting corpses standing beneath her.
