Most group of friends have trios, like two boys and one girl. So what if Wukong and Macaque had another friend.
Another that just wanted to break the chains from her responsibilities and just have fun.
Another that knew what about the fight between...

Sitting in her comfy lawn chair, courtesy of Sandy dear, Jinhua was ignoring the rambles of Tang's out loud literature reading.
Which is just him reading out his so called, small fiction writing.
She was busy braiding Mei's hair and watching Macaque comb out small knots in MK's simian fur.
Both mature demons were trying to comfort the younglings as they had just faced their first major loss in battle. And it came with the sacrifice of a member of their brotherhood.
They're son, Ren.
"Ugh—! Not so tight...!" A small groan of a complaint escaped another simian.
Jinhua glanced up from her braiding session to see Pigsy having been left with the duty of aiding medical help for the Great Sage, as Sandy himself had too large fingers, and Tang was too busy writing.
She just thought he was being lazy.
Glancing back to her simian and MK, she could tell both were in they're own zone. Macaque focusing on getting the little skirmishes and MK was in a happy daze, like he was getting the best back scratch of his life. His tail could be seen swaying side to side in content.
A loud gasp caught the content group's attention, resulting in it being Pigsy snatching Tang's book of fiction literature.
He held it above his head, an annoyed look painted on his snout, "You've been reading your diary out loud, literally allll day—! Stop bumming everybody out!"
Tang spluttered spit in defiance as he tried to find the right words, "Heeey~!" He leaned back and crossed his arms, "It's not a diary! I'm writing the next chapter!" He snatched the book, in such speeds that even Jinhua had to blink, and flipped the page to a poorly drawn Tang and Wukong in the middle of a pink heart, "And very well written I might add~!"
Pigsy was still processing how Tang was able to snatch the book out of his hoof.
"Neeey! As long as he wrote down that hero stuff bit, of me fighting Nezha, to get this bad boy—!" Wukong interrupted while tossing the stolen scroll in his awaiting paw, "Then we're good! Haha—!" He was interrupted by Pigsy slinging a roll of bandages, nailing the Monkey King straight in the noggin.
MK raised his hand from his resting spot, "I mean the part with the omelette thing...? That was pretty cool, right?" He leaned back innocently to face Macaque, who looked like he had a million other things he could say to wreck this boy's dream, but he said, "...Yeah... Good.. Catchphrase."
MK beamed back a smile that blinded the simian for a moment before turning to look at Sun Wukong again.
Macaque glanced at Jinhua with an exhausted look, "I see what you mean."
"Impossible to deny." Jinhua smiled, amusement dancing in her slightly crinkled eyes.
"Yeah. That bit with omelette was totally cool. Ha!" Wukong grinned happily, "Alright everybody! Monkey King story time!"
