The group instantaneously started to gawk and awe at the grand scene of one of the few temples in the Celestial Realm.
Jinhua narrowed her eyes at the three buildings, "This is definitely the Emperor's palace..." She felt a headache throb in her skull at the mere thought of meeting such a man again.
MK was bouncing around with Mei as she was snapping as many pictures as she could of the scene, "Mei Mei Mei—! We gotta take a group photo!"
Mei glowed at the idea, letting out a loud gasp, "You totally right!!" She started gathering the others but ended up fighting with Redson again who started to throw hands at In quick blurry motions.
MK turned to Jinhua with a bright smile, "Hey Jinhua—." His eyes slowly widened as he noticed a sigil under her feet.
"A teleportation mark??" Jinhua herself looked surprised and looked back up to meet MK worried look, he was already running towards her, "Jinhua—!!"
At his shout the group turned to see MK reach his hand out to Jinhua desperately.
Mei quickly let go of Redson who was baffled by the sudden interruption of peace.
"Did the Gods already find us and tend to purge the most powerful of us first—!?" He asked in slight panic.
Mei rushed forward, closely behind MK as they tried to reach the demoness.
Jinhua quickly held her palm out, "Dont come closer!"
MK made an abrupt stop, just to see Jinhua disappear right in front of him. Her body dissolved in tiny golden specks.
Mei accidentally rammed into him in her sprint, and that resulted in them both almost tumbling over the rails if Sandy hadn't caught them by the sleeves.
Mei stared at the spot that left a few scorch marks in the sigil's place. She dropped to her knees in front of it. Her fingers smudging the faint ash in the wooden planks as she tried to figure out what just happened, "She.. Wha—!"
Redson glanced over the rails and narrowed his eyes impatiently, "She'll be fine. She knows this place like the back of her hand."
Mei and MK glanced over at the red head with teary eyes.
"You really think so?" MK sniffled while rubbing the corner of his eyes.
Redson gave the simian boy a wolfish grin, "I know so. Whoever summoned her is in for a hell of a time."
Mei let out a spluttered laugh, "She's not the one to underestimate! She's my master after all!" She unsheathed her sword and pointed it towards the massive palace.
Pigsy crossed his arms with a smile, "These kids..."
Tang peeked from behind Sandy with a raised brow, "So what's the plan? We lost our guide!"
