Most group of friends have trios, like two boys and one girl. So what if Wukong and Macaque had another friend.
Another that just wanted to break the chains from her responsibilities and just have fun.
Another that knew what about the fight between...

Swiveling to the side, Jinhua dodged one of Macaque's straps. His projection didn't help at all at trying to capture the demoness with how much it treasured her. She would always groom out its knots and scrub his scarf out of dirt and grime.
Teleporting to the side, Jinhua raised her blades to struck down at some of the straps that reached out. Cleanly slicing them in half, the projection let out a strangled yell.
Macaque lowered from his projection and slipped into the ground, his staff already being thrown in Jinhua's direction while she had her eyes on the fading Projection.
Her ear flickered, hearing the staff fly her way. She twisted out of the way by bending her back lowly like a limbo. Her swords barely scraping by the staff as it passes her.
But instead of watching it fly farther away, Jinhua watched the staff get caught mid throw and was twirled around to strike her.
Snapping her fingers, Jinhua teleported out of the way and skidded across the ground. Her heeled boots trailed a thin line of blue flames in her wake. Twirling the blades in her hands, Jinhua shifted back into battle position as she watched Macaque stand back up in the newly made crater.
"This is becoming a lot harder than I thought..." Macaque clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"Then you wouldn't mind having a helping hand, would you?"
Macaque snapped his head to the side to see Wukong had landed beside him with his fists clenched. His face was smeared of dried blood and a few purple splotches bruises painted across his exposed skin.
A smirk laced his lips, "Damn, what happened to you, ugly?" He pointed his staff at the Sage.
Wukong gave the simian a pointed look, "I won my fight, unlike someone I know."
Macaque shrugged, "Yeah, but at least I don't look like I got my shitrocked."
The Monkey King growled at that, "I'll show you exactly what had happened with my fight—!" He was blasted away by a massive beam of blue flames.
Jinhua stepped forward with her hand outstretched and a scowl on her face, "You defeated Shiwen." A hiss left her mouth at the mere thought.
Macaque glanced over his shoulder at the crumpled up simian on the ground, "Now look what you did...! You angered the princess~!" He smirked at the glare he received from him. He backflipped out of the way of Jinhua's blade as she decided to continue they're previous dual.
Jinhua's attacks became more persistent and as she was now fully on offense and not running away, "Your Destiny will be completed as soon as you surrender to the rule of my master...!" She hissed while sweeping the simian's feet from underneath him.
He fell back into his own portal before Jinhua could impale her with her two dual blades. He slid out of a nearby boulder with a frown, "I'd rather not go back to your 'master'. She had the worst living conditions imaginable."
