The Finale (eh not really)

Saint Louis: " there's a disturbance off the coast of-" getting cut off by Richelieu saying " oui, but we must keep priority to the waters closer to us" refusing to send out a team to investigate it. As the French ships were struggling with dwindling forces from the Sirens. All communicate for months had been cut off from each branching faction. They had gotten letters from Azur Lane stating that they are working on fixing it but so far no word.

So, every faction has been taking precautions to avoid doing any unnecessary missions, sorties, exercises, rescues, etc. in waters that distance their country.

" I think we should go investigate, ships could be-" Saint Louis was cut off once more by Richelieu saying " we lost Jean already, how much more will we loose?" Causing the conversation to become silent.

Richelieu: " we aren't like Azur Lane, they have the ships. We don't. And in fact, I haven't heard any word from them in months! Not even one letter! One! They don't even have the audacity to keep us informed? But I bet they'd do it for their most prized factions like the Royal Navy, Sakura Empire, and IronBlood!"

Saint Louis: " I'm sure that's not true, maybe something is preventing them from contacting us" hearing Richelieu scoff as Saint Louis responded back saying " we've been sending out messenger pigeons and none of them seem to ever return, why is that?" Finding that suspicious.

Richelieu: " I don't know! Maybe they were shot down by those stupid Americans or kept in a coop in Azur Lane for all we know! But that doesn't change the fact that they care about us as much as they care about the Northern Parliament left in the cold or the Dragon Empery who we all have no clue what they're doing or what's happening! Not to mention what's happening with the Sardegna Empire! Who's requesting our help as well as Vichya Dominion" telling her that they have more pressing matters to deal with.

" and that's how they're getting us Louis. They're making us send our teams out there and they never come back!" Richelieu shouted, knowing that they've fallen for this Siren trick one too many times that she won't let it happen again. Especially now that they have some sort of tech that resembles IronBlood mechanics. *cough cough hint hint (as the previous chapter mentions stolen research tech from IronBlood from a certain somebody of course unknowfully)*

" fine. If you won't help them I will." Saint Louis said, going herself. Alone if she has to. She won't let any ship go down like Jean Bart who sacrificed herself for the other ships in her team. Yes they were Azur Lane ships not french ships but she knowingly made that decision and its consequences.

Richelieu: " maybe it's best if you align yourself to the faction of your origin instead of a foreigner who'll never see you as equal. Before it's too late." Warning her friend that there is no point in helping a faction who will never treat them with the same equality as they have to them.

" you forget." Saint Louis said turning around to face her friend. " we are the city of love. It is in our blood to support others. No?" Than left.

While this was happening...

" fire!" Mikasa yelled, as the backline positioned their ships to fire at these new Meta ships. Who seem to be more advance than any ship or Siren they've ever seen.

" no way!" Ise said, seeing their ships somehow repair itself from the massive damage they had just inflicted. After one of the Meta ships Arizona used her ability: No More Tears paired up with another ability called: Yesterday Once More

With those two abilities piled up, the healing factor was crazy on her fleet. In addition, that Meta Arizona gives off a buff for a big damage reduction. Can you say bs?

" Jintsu! Stay focused!" Azuma said, who's a backline ship but came forward to the frontline to help Jintsuu keep the enemies at bay.

Jintsuu scoffed and said " yeah, easy for you to say" thinking she's not a heavily armored ship like her elders. So they can take the hits but she can't really.

" talk to your elders with respect!" Kaga called, as she sent in some air support. One of them bombs landed eerily close to Jintsuu but didn't hit her. Kaga was doing this while at the same time on the coms trying to get some reinforcements.

" hey!" Jintsuu called out, thinking Kaga did that on purpose.

" shh! Can't you see Kaga's on the phone?" Azuma said, thinking Jintsuu is acting like a spoiled child.

" I DONT THINK MY VOICE IS AS LOUD AS THE SHELLS, TORPEDOES, BOMBS, OR EXPLOSIONS GOING OFF HERE!"  Jintsuu shouted, as Ise called up " WHAT?!" still unable to hear what's going on.

Kaga who has excellent hearing thanks to being part fox. Got so upset hearing Jintsuu's voice that she used too much force and crushed the coms line on her ship.

" ISE! Get the coms on your ship! And call for reinforcements!" Kaga yelled, as Ise shouted back " what?!" Unable to understand what Kaga is saying to her. Thinking that Kaga might be telling her to reposition her ship because she thought that Kaga informed her that reinforcements were coming.

" huh?! Ise! Where are you going?!" Mikasa shouted, seeing Ise break off formation to put some distance between them. Thinking that when the reinforcements arrive they will have a better placement of formation this way but for the time being right now this is a bad move.

" forget it!" Kaga called, as she called to Mikasa's ship to get on the coms.

" oh uh I don't know how?" Mikasa said, embarrassedly. As she sucked with technology.

" your kidding me!" Kaga said, thinking she's joking. Seeing Mikasa give her that cheeky smile to say that she's not. But after all, Mikasa was such a strong ship she never needed to call for back up. So she never did, and has no experience what so ever with the coms. I mean in the previous chapters you see her ASKING the other team mate ships who are younger than her to get help. If needed. And that only happened with Musashi.

Jintsuu: " ugh, looks like there's trouble in the back with the grannies" seeing Ise break off formation and Kaga and Mikasa arguing.

" don't talk about us like that" Azuma said, scolding Jintsuu to be more respectful on how she speaks about her elders.

Jintsuu: " ugh! I don't need your help! Why don't you just go back with the other grannies and leave me alone!" Rejecting Azuma's front line help.

Azuma looked at Jintsuu and she knew she shouldn't let her anger/emotions get in the way of a mission/sortie but ooo Jintsuu just had a way of words that would make anyone say " go fuck yourself!" And leave.

Azuma grabbed Jintsuu's arm and said " apologize now." Giving her one more chance to redeem herself. But Jintsuu pulled back her arm from Azuma and instead got attacked by one of Jintsuu's fan cutting her arm.

" I don't need your help! And I'm not going to apologize! Just leave!" Jintsuu said, angrily, stubbornly, and meanly.

Azuma gave Jintsuu a mean look than left Jintsuu's side.

Kaga: " Azuma what are you doing back here? Why aren't you helping Jintsuu?" Seeing her return back. As her and Mikasa stopped their arguing seeing her back.

As Azuma explained angrily in Japanese what happened. And she couldn't shut up about it. As Kaga and Mikasa were now trying to get her to calm down and shut up.

---- I thought I'd publish this for you now so you can enjoy it but it's not finished yet, I have to do some papers today so that'll take up some of my time :( ---
