Even though Feldway has escaped, I am still trying to understand what is going on here. There are weird tattoos on my body, and they are rich in magicules. What is this?

<Master, it appears the conditions to use the «Crest of Sin» had been fulfilled. Though, I am still not sure what the conditions were >

Crest of sin? Why did it activate now? I don't even have an Ultimate skill of sin series any more.

Slowly these symbols on my body started to dim and eventually disappear. It seems like that Feldway knew a bit about this crest as well. I will have to take extra precautions now. It is better to assume that he has a crest of virtue which is also awakened.

Just as I was in these thoughts, Guy came to me.

"I knew you would come to help." Guy said.
"Don't misunderstand. I only came here to save my subordinates. I don't care what happens to El Dorado." I reply

"I can see that." He said looking towards the castle which was more or less completely broken.

'We are going back.' i say to all my subordinates.
'Understood.'

Looks like none of them faced any difficulties.

"Well then, I am taking my leave."
"Sure. Go ahead."

"Oh right. Before I forget, who is that elf?"
"Why don't you ask her yourself?"

"Who knows? She might tell you something interesting."

After that I teleport back to Tempest with all my subordinates.

A few days later...

A few days have passed since the fight in El Dorado. Today is the day we finally have a peace pact with the Empire.

These past few days I have been looking into what the crest of sin does. Though I was not able to find a lot about it, some things caught my eye.

Firstly, even though I was in a clone while in El Dorado, as soon as the crest of sin awakened, that clone became my true body, while my true body became a clone.

Secondly, the crest of sin can only be activated by my true body. None of my clones can use.

And finally, apart from magicules, the crest of sin also consumes the desire of the host and multiples it. If used for a long time, it could backfire. It is sorry of a trump card.

Well, let's put these thing aside and focus on today's meeting. Just as I was about to go into the meeting room, a maid came to me informing me of a incoming call from Gazel.

"Rimuru. I heard you are having a meeting with the Empire." Was the first thing Gazel said as soon as we connected. I allowed some of his spies to stay in Tempest, so I am not really surprised.

"Yes. You want to join?" I ask him. I can already imagine why he contacted me. Dwargon in reality, only had two entrances, one which opens up in Tempest and the other bordering the Eastern Empire.

If both Tempest and Empire make a treaty, then Dwargon would be stuck. Even if Tempest had a treaty with both sides, Dwargon and Empire are individually independant from each other. If the Empire were to attack Dwargon, them Tempest would have to remain neutral.

"Yes I do. Well then, I am already at the border, so I hope you will send someone to pick me up."

"Huh!? Already at the border? When did you? You know what? Never mind. I am coming to pick you up."

I then opened a portal straight to the border. Gazel was there along with Dorf and Henrietta.

"Follow me." I say as I take them to the portal.

"Where are we going?" Gazel asks.
"To the meeting room." I respond bruntly.

"Huh? Right now?"
"Yep. You are the one who came unannounced. I am sure you have no problems."
"*Sigh* fine. Lead the way."

I then take him to the meeting room. It had a large square table, which further separated into four parts on each of its side. It allows for meeting between for different factions. But as there were only three factions, one side was left unattended.

The one leading this meeting would be Testarossa.

"Well then, I assume everyone here is already aware of the reason of the meeting. Then, as a sign of formality, I will introduce everyone."

From my side, there was me, Testarossa, Shuna, Benimaru and Shion. From Gazel's side, there was Henrietta and Dorf along with him. For the Empire, there was Masayuki, Velgrynd, Mintz and Calgurio.

"Well then, as for the treaty, Tempest demands the following:-
1) As reparation, 100,000 stellar gold coins or good worth equivalent to it have to be provided.
2) All rights to airships and battle tanks will be transferred to Tempest, who will maintain a monopoly over it.
3) If any proof of actions that can be taken against Tempest is obtained, we will be obliged to attack, even without any advanced warning.
4) All territories towards the North and West of the Empire will be forfeited to Tempest."

Testarossa said so while highlighting the area that will be transferred to Tempest. There are two main reasons as to why I am asking for this territory. Firstly is because I will now share a boundary with Guy, but the second reason is more important. And the reason is Testarossa.

The previous night ...

Just as I had concluded my research on the crest, I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in."

Who is it now?

The one who entered was Testarossa. After the attack on the council, she had been quite busy with the clean up.

"Rimuru-sama, there is something that I wanted to ask."

That's rare of her.

"What is it?"
"Do you remember that you told me that I could ask for a reward on a later date, if I wanted one."

"Oh right. Have you finally decided on what you want to do?"
"Hai. Actually, in tomorrow's meeting, the two demands that we have planned, could we have an addition to it?"

"Addition?"
"Hai." She said as she took out a map from her storage.

"These parts here, could they become a part of Tempest?"

The area that she pointed was the area that was the border between Tempest, Empire and Guy's Frozen Continent.

"It's a risky place to add."
"But having boundary with Guy would help you to monitor his actions easily."

"But the same is also possible for him."
"Yes, but Rimuru-sama, you don't deal with his spies anyway, they just remain here, so it makes bro little difference for him."

"You really came well prepared for this, didn't you? Fine. You can add that to the treaty. I am sure they can't refuse either way. I am not going to ask what you intend to do with it, but it shouldn't harm Tempest's reputation."
