3rd Person POV

"We are about to exit hyperspace." Jacob says.

In the past 10 minutes, Veldanava had given a brief information about this world to everyone.

As soon as Krishna excited hyperspace, both of its main cannons shot. Both the attacks connected, leaving two major Spaceships helpless. Rimuru had shot the EMPs before the ambushers even had a chance to make a move.

"Deploy the attacking squad. Keep squad number 7, 9 and 19 at standby. Squad number 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 8 will attack the motherboard at 10 o'clock. Squad 10,11,12,13,14,15 and 16 will attack the other one. Squad 17, 18 and 20 will scout and look out for enemy reinforcements. Squads 21 to 25 will intercept their fighters." Rimuru dishes out orders at a fast pace.

The officers were not idiots. Seeing that Rimuru had correctly predicted an ambushed, they decided to support him with everything they have.

"Release the air fields once we get close to them." Rimuru orders.
"Understood."

Air field. A new technology that creates air out of dark matter. It is often used in space battles to reduce the damage via suction in space in case of breach in the hull. It is a sort of unwritten rule, followed even by space pirates. As soon as any foreign matter enters from outside the field, the air rapidly disintegrates. As such, interjecting in an ongoing space fight is often looked down upon and seen as a method of suicide in space.

"Tell squads that are attacking to prioritise these parts." Rimuru says pointing towards the rudder, lower hull, roof and the area behind the cannons.

"These parts have the weakest armour, making it easy to pierce. Also, just behind the cannons is the ammunition room. One hit and it will blow up."

"I see. Understood. Do you have any clue about where your brother will be, your majesty?" Jacob asked Rimuru, who had stood up.

"Yes. And I am about to go and meet him." Rimuru says with a smirk.

"Who are you talking with you?" Jacob asked.

"No one. I'll go alone."

"But-"

"No buts. We already are at a numerical disadvantage. We have to take advantage of whatever we can."

"Even then."

"Just trust me." Rimuru says looking straight at Jacob. Seeing the determination in his eyes, Jacob had no other option but to back down.

Just as Rimuru was about to leave, Jacob asked once last question.

"Atleast tell us which ship he is on. We could atleast provide cover."

To this Rimuru just smiled and pointed upwards.

"He is above us. His ship is turned off, so it wouldn't be possible to find him if a detailed analysis is not run."

"How do you know then?"
"He is my brother. I know how he loves to look down on others more than anyone else in this world."

After saying this, Rimuru went off without a single word.

In Ciel's room

Ciel, woken up by Rimuru, quickly dressed herself up. She didn't wear any fancy clothes, as she usually would have to showcase her position as Rimuru's fiance. Rather, the clothes she wore were made specially for defence and maneuverability.

"Let's go Doris." Ciel spoke up.
"Yes, milady."

As soon as Ciel stepped out of the room, the ambient light blue lights, glowing around the Spaceship became red. With the lights becoming brighter along a line, indicating the passengers to evacuate in that direction.

Attention, all passengers. Krishna will now enter a battle state. All passengers are adviced to make their way to the main hall. I repeat, all passengers are requested to make their way to the main hall.

The announcement rang throughout the ship.

"Let's go Doris. I cannot help him fight in the front lines. But I can atleast keep things in check here." Ciel said as she quickly made her way towards the main hall.

Rimuru's faction had grown considerably fast. This made it very difficult to understand who is an ally, and who is just hiding behind a facade, waiting to betray at the right moment. But, if everyone is forced to gather in the main hall, they would be forced to stay in check, it else they will be caught easily in front of everyone. Weapons such as bombs or guns are useless as no metallic weapons using gunpowder, plasma energy or dark matter will be able to enter the room.

Ciel's POV

As soon as I enter the room, everyone who was talking earlier falls silent. Everyone looks in my direction. I just make my way towards the centre of the crowd.

"Oh. Ciel. You're here? I thought you would be with the prince."

I turn around to see the speaker. Only a few people in this Empire have the right and the guts to call me by my name. I turn around to see two people looking at me. A girl and a boy, who looked 18 and 25 respectively. They both had blue hair, characteristic of the Duke household of Regalia.

"Aqua. It has been a while." I say, addressing the girl. "You as well, Duke-sama."

The man was one of the Dukes supporting Satoru. He is one of the youngest person to be a Duke in the history of the Empire.

"Geez. You don't need to be so formal about it. Come on." Aqua says trying to hug Ciel, but was stopped by her brother, the Duke.

"Sorry about that." The Duke said.

"Oh, it's nothing. I am already used to her antics."

"Anyways, what are you planning to do with them?" Aqua asked looking at all the people gathered here.

It's true that majority of them quite abled people, but even they know that not all of them support us. There is bound to be someone amongst them who is a traitor.

"Somebody will surely go out of line. We just have to take care of them right here."

As if agreeing with me, Doris, and the guards following Aqua and her brother nodded.

3rd Person POV

Veldanava, along with the others continued to look as Rimuru quickly made his way to the hangar. In the hangar, there were countless of ships, taking off, refueling, and so on. Rimuru quickly got on one of the largest spaceship.

Rimuru quickly got into the cockpit and sat on the captain's seat. There were only two more seats, which seemed to be for the vice-captain and the navigator, but the ship could function completely fine even with only a single pilot.

Rimuru quickly turned on its engines and the Spaceship begin to levitate. As soon as Rimuru checked everything was in order, he flew off the plane into space.

Veldanava and the others continued to look from afar as Rimuru made his towards one of the motherships while dodging any occasional attacks aimed at him. As Rimuru continued to get closer and closer to one of the motherships, the spaceships protecting the motherships made him their Target.

Even though the motherships are currently unable to move due to the EMPs, this doesn't mean that the smaller spaceships cannot move. As they try to take down Rimuru, Rimuru deftly dodges all of their attacks. The movements of his Spaceship was graceful and refined over decades of experience. As he got closer to the mothership, instead of attacking it, he used it as cover to hide from other Spaceships and prepare for his next move.
