Rimuru's POV

As I had expected, Sarion started running out of active mages. Just when I was about to step in, someone passed through the rift and caught my attention. It was Feldway. So he was leading the Insectars? So, I guess they really have joined hands. Feldway slowly descended, making his way towards the city.

Elmesia, who saw this, ordered the guards to stand down.

"Have you thought about my suggestion, Sylvia?" Feldway asked.

Suggestion? What suggestion? I wasn't informed of anything like this. I guess that makes sense. They have full right to hide information, but this just means that I really can't trust them anymore.

"Yes. I already have an answer." Sylvia replied
"And?"

"I refuse. In the first place, your entire idea and plan is stupid. Instead of reviving him, you would end up creating an abomination which would destroy everything he held dear."

"Tch. You know nothing about milord. Giving you a choice was useless. I should have done this from the start." Feldway said as he teleported straight in front of Sylvia and punched her. Sylvia blocked the punch with her left hand and summoned her sword with the right one. Before she could strike though, Feldway created some distance between himself and her.

3rd Person POV

Just as Feldway prepared to attack again, something, or someone prevented him from doing so. Rimuru, who had appeared out of nowhere was standing in between the two, facing Feldway.

He turned his head backwards and looked at Sylvia and spoke," Do tell me about this little 'deal' of yours to me later, okay?"

It was said in a tone that clearly stated that it will not take no as an answer.

"You don't seem too surprised to see me here." Rimuru asked.
"It was within my expectations."

Hearing the same automated-like voice, Rimuru attacked Feldway using wind blades. Feldway swiftly dodged them and closed the distance between them.

Rimuru took out his sword and parried it with Feldway.

'Tch. Ciel, aren't his attacks much stronger compared to his attack on Sylvia?' Rimuru asked Ciel. What he says isn't wrong, Feldway's attacks were much stronger. But that would mean he was holding back against Sylvia. Did he not want to reveal his true strength or did he have done other ulterior notice was something that Rimuru was unable to figure out.

<Master's deduction is correct. I already have a hypothesis, but I would like if master could follow my plan to confirm it.>

What plan?

<Hai. So .......>

A smirk appeared on Rimuru's face, not visible to anyone, yet it clearly stated that he was completely onboard Ciel's idea.

'Very well. It seems quite amusing.'

Rimuru, who was till now actively trying to close the distance between the two suddenly stopped and distanced himself.

Seeing this, Feldway also began observing his surroundings to make sure he wasn't caught in any trap.

"Giving up?" Feldway asked.
"Nah. I am just thinking of changing things up."

As soon as Rimuru finished speaking, he shot wind blades at Feldway. Just as Feldway dodged them, he crashed straight into an earth wall. Rimuru had already predicted that Feldway would sidhe the wind blades and thus created an Earth wall to immobilise him. Before Feldway could regain his bearings, Rimuru shot hundreds of fireballs at him, each easily hotter than thousands of degrees. The fact that it was supported by Rimuru's ultimate skill just meant certain death if Feldway were to come in direct contact. Feldway quickly surrounded him in a water ball, nullifying the fireballs.
