"Hey Jessica!" I heard a voice say behind me "Not now busy" I said rushed "Even to busy for me?" Wait I know that voice. I stopped dead in my tracks "I swear if someone is messing with me you have 5 seconds to run. 5..4..3..2..1" I slowly turned around my eyes closed. I started to smile. I opened one eyes. Dark curly hair... Check I took a deep breath and opened both eyes "Omar" I squealed jumping into his arms "Jessica" he said nuzzling he's head in my neck "I missed you so so much" he whispered "What are you doing here?" I smiled "What not happy to see me?" He pouted "Of course I am! I just- you weren't supposed to be back until next week" I said not believe Omar was here in the flesh "Yeah well I may have lied a little" "Oh my god I'm so glade your back!" I smiled hugging him again this time kissing him "I missed that" he said kissing me again

"Why so busy?" Omar questioned "Oh just had to go pick something up real quick" I said remembering why I was in a rush to leave school "Oh where were you going I can drive you" he said mentioning towards the door "Oh no it's fine I didn't need it today anyways" I laughed. Truth was I had to go get my prom dress for this weekend, I thought Omar was coming back next week so I didn't talk to him about prom or anything and now I feel guilty "ok then.." He said confused "But umh are you going home now?" I asked walking towards the door "Well I haven't been to see my parents yet but -are you hiding something from me" he asked still with the confused face "What no I'm not!" I laughed nervously "Yeah you are. I know you Jessica, I know that nervous laugh"
"Fine okay listen Omar, proms this weekend and I thought you were coming down next weekend so I didn't tell you about it and we'll I'm going with my friends and I got a dress and I planed in picking it up today but now I feel bad cause your here and k didn't tell you about it" I said out of breath "Baby it's okay" Omar laughed caressing my cheek with his hand "I have to go home now to see my mom cause she's really exited to see me but I'll text you later I promise" he said kissing the top of my head "Love you" I said "Love you too" he said walking to his car. If he hasn't been home wet how the hell did he get his car? Whatever

'Meet me at park now please" Omar texted me "be there in 5" I quickly texted back running to the park "Omar!" I yelled catching my breath "Jessica!" He yelled opening his arms. I ran into them hugging him... Again. I really did miss him "Hey look over there" he said pointing to the swings in the park. There was an envelope attached to one of the swings. I walked over to it, curious. The envelope had my name one it. I looked at it confused. I opened it "Jessica will you go to prom with me?" I read out loud what? I turned around to see Omar holding a sign saying 'I know it's late and all but will you be my date to prom?' Omar had a cheesy grin plastered on he's face. He put the sign down and took out a ring "Jessica, I've asked you this 2 times now in the spam of 3 minutes but 3 times a charm right? I love you and I want to be your date to the prom, I'll be your night and shinning armour and you'll. be my princess" he said "Yes! yes yes a thousand times yes!" I said hugging Omar tight "Oh and here" he said taking my hand and putting the ring on my finger. It was a crown ring "I love it Omar I really do" I said smiling tears in my eyes.
