" I told you I don't want anything big for my birthday" I told my best friend, Amber, who was insisting that we needed to do something for my birthday "C'mon Rachel, let me plan something real quick and small!" She begged "No! I don't want to do anything on my birthday" I sighed "Fine then" she playfully oft "Is Felix coming down? Is that why you don't want to do anything" she asked "No, he's not. He told me he was busy or something" I said sadly "Oh.. Sorry"

Day of birthday

I woke up to my phone ringing. I grunted and picked it up "Hello?" I said my eyes half closed "Happy birthday baby girl!" Felix said threw the phone "Thanks" I smiled "Did I wake you?" He asked giggling "Yeah kinda" I laughed with him

"God I wish I could be there with you" he said sighing probably smiling "Yeah I wish you could be here with me" I smiled to "Well I need to go, have a great day love. I'll see you some love you" "love you too"

I hung up the phone and answered a bunch of other birthday texts I got. I got one from Amber who said to hurry up and get dressed because we were going out shopping or something like that today.

I got up and showered. I picked out my outfit, black ripped skinny jeans and a white flowy t-shirt. Once I put it on I put on my usual makeup on and walked down stairs. I was greater by my parents wishing me a happy birthday and handing me a present "Aww thanks!" I said sitting down and opening it "We say you wanting them a while back" my mom said. The box held a pair of Adidas, black and golds running shoes "Wow thank you!" I said hugging them both.

Amber texted me telling me that she was here. I said a quick goodbye to my parents and walked out the door into her car "Hey birthday girl!" She practically yelled "Hi!" I yelled back laughing

"So where are we going ?" I asked looking threw the radio stations "The mall obviously!" She laughed "Obviously" I laughed with her

It was about 5 PM now and we were in the car on our way back to my place "I just have to stop home real quick" Amber told me taking a turn to her house "That's cool" I giggled

We pulled up at her house " Can I come in?" I asked not really waiting for an answer "Make yourself a home" she laughed as I was basically in the house and she was behind me. I opened the door taking off my shoes and heading up to her room "Like I said make yourself at home" she yelled up to me smirking "Don't worry I am" I smiled to myself opening her bedroom door. I noticed some bags that definitely weren't Ambers in the corner of her room "What the-FELIX!?!" I yelled seeing his figure stand by the bed. I ran into his arms hugging him tight "Surprise!" He laughed hugging tight

" I thought you couldn't make it?" I said pulling away "I lied" he smiled "you know I wouldn't miss your birthday for the world!" He laughed hugging me again " Was Amber in on this?!" I asked "Yup" he laughed " I can't believe she didn't tell me!" I said surprised, she usually can't keep a secret "C'mon I have plans for us" Felix said taking my hand and leading me out of the house. I said a quick goodbye to Amber before leaving with Felix.

We spent the night at a lovely restaurant and after he took me to the l'arc where we talked for hours "So how was your birthday?" He asked looking over at me "Best birthday ever" I laughed

"I got something for you" Felix said pulling out a little box "Felix you didn't need to get me a present ! You being here is enough" I said and stopped walking "Okay then I guess I'll just bring it back" he said shrugging and putting the box back in his pocket "Okay no let me see it" I laughed kissing him quickly before taking the box from him "I knew you couldn't resist" he smirked. I rolled my eyes opening the box, there was a necklace inside. I looked up at Felix who nodded. I took it out and there was a little pendant 'F' on the end of it "Felix I-" "I know you love me" he said flipping his hand "C'mon" I said playfully "I love it " I said hugging him for the billionth time today "And I love you" he smiled kissing me
