"Y/N I have to show you something" my best friend said to me pulling out her phone "What is it" I asked smiling "I'm not doing this to hurt you, i- I just think it's best for you to know" she explained "What is it?" I asked growing worried "This is a bad idea. I shouldn't have said anything" she said "Tell me" she handed me her phone "It was taken at a party a few weeks ago" she said sadly "Are you sure its him?" I asked on the verge of tears "I don't know, it looks like him" she said "It's Omar, it's him" I said handing her phone back getting up "Hey listen I'm going to head back home now" I said fake smiling "No Y/N you can't go home like this" she said getting up as well "I'm fine" I said walking out her bedroom door "Call me if there's anything" she yelled as I walked out the door

Present Day

I was sitting on the couch watching TV. I heard the door open and close but I just assumed it was my mom "Hey baby" Omar said from behind the couch making me freeze. That was obviously not my mom. Just as he bent down to sit next to me I got up real fast "Hey do you want any food? Are you hungry?" I asked looking anywhere but him "Um no I'm good" he said with a confused look "Well I'm hungry" I said about to leave the room "Are you okay?" Omar asked me making me flinch "I'm fine" I said "You don't look fine" he said. I heard him get up off the couch 'Don't touch me. Omar don't please' I thought to myself "I'm fine Omar" "Did I do something" he asked putting his hand on my shoulder making me jump "No" I lied "Really cause you haven't even looked at me since I got here" he said turning me around to face him "I've looked at you" I said "No you haven't you aren't even looking at me now, you're looking behind me" he kinda laughed looking confused trying to look me in the eye "It's like every time I speak I scare you. What's going on" he asked "Are you cheating on me" I finally said looking in his eyes "Y/N.." "it's a yes or no question Omar AND don't lie to me" I said tears threatening to fall "I-I-" was all he could say he was the one refusing to look at me now "I kissed another girl yes but I'm not cheating on you" he said "Please leave" I whispered a tear falling down my cheek "Y/N listen I need you to know that we didn't have sex, we kissed and I pulled away when I realized she wasn't you and I left. We didn't have sex" he said trying to hold me "Don't touch me Omar" I said "I have to touch you Y/N, you're falling apart and I need to hold you together" "You're the reason I'm falling apart!" I yelled

"You have no idea how much its hurting me to see you like this and have you tell me not to touch you" he said "You're hurting. It hurts you to not be able to touch me? It hurts me top see you with another girl Omar! You know how long I've known about this? A week. I've been tearing myself apart for a week over this and your hurt cause I told you not to touch me" I said in disbelief "I wanted to tell you. I-I left the party after that happened and I came here and it didn't look like you were here- there were no lights on and I didn't know what to do, I went home. "Y/N you have to believe me okay. I love you so much you're my everything and I know those words mean nothing right now but Its true okay I love you more than anything. If you still want me to leave I will but i- I'm sorry and I love you" he said tears falling down his cheeks and his breathing getting heavier "Omar calm down you're going to have a panic attack" I said sitting him down on the couch as he tried to catch his breath "I'm so-so-rry Y/N. I'm s-o sorry" he cried gasping for breath "Omar shhh. Stop talking" I said sitting on his knees trying to get him to breath "Breath with me okay? In and out" I said having him copy my motions

"That's it" I said once he calmed down enough to breath correctly "I didn't mean to-""It's okay" I said caressing his cheek with my hand.

"I didn't mean to hurt you" he whispered "You promise me that you didn't have sex with her" I asked looking him deep in the eyes "I promise" he said "I'll never do it again" he continued "Prove it" I simply said. He leaned in glancing from my eyes to my lips. Ever so slowly our lips connected. He kissed me with so much passion and love it made me weak in the knees. Our lips moved in sync. In that moment I knew he never meant to hurt me. In that moment I knew I believed him.
