Hoseok shook his head lightly as he watched his ex-boyfriend and his new boyfriend talk. They were on their way on a school trip and Hoseok wasn't in the mood to see Jungkook pretending to be in love. They had been together for four months but it had ended after a big fight. Jungkook had asked Hoseok about something and Hoseok had been distracted. Jungkook got mad that he wasn't listening and it had developed into this huge fight. Jungkook had in the end broken up with Hoseok because he thought he was always ignoring him. It had been a month and Jungkook was apparently already ready to date someone new, despite having told Hoseok he loved him endlessly.
Hoseok almost felt nauseous seeing Jungkook look at his new boyfriend Taehyung and smiling. Hoseok firmly believed Jungkook still loved him and had decided to use the trip to prove himself right.
It was a hour drive to this opening in the middle of the forest where they would set up tents. Hoseok shared his with someone called Jimin. They had spoken a few times before and he was a decent guy. Jungkook was sharing his with Taehyung.
When they finally arrived Hoseok and the others left the bus. They got their things and had to gather to listen to their teachers. Hoseok watched Jungkook and Taehyung hold hands and rolled his eyes. They all got split up into two big teams and Hoseok just so happened to come in the same team with Jungkook but his new boyfriend was in the other team. They got some assignments they had to do and so they set out into the woods to solve them. As they walked Hoseok went up next to Jungkook and and grabbed his hand. Jungkook reacted by squeezing it like he always did when they were together.

"Hey handsome boy." Hoseok said into his ear. Jungkook quickly let go of Hoseok's hand and Hoseok put an arm around his waist.

"Stop. I have another boyfriend." Jungkook said but made little effort moving away from Hoseok.

"Is that really so? Don't you miss me? Miss my touch, my kiss, my love?" Hoseok asked in a cheeky tone. Jungkook took his own time answering.

"I have somebody else doing all of those things now." Jungkook said half like he was trying to convince himself.

"But does he do it like me?" Hoseok asked and pulled Jungkook closer.

"No but that's okay." Jungkook said and finally got the strength to move out of Hoseok's grib.

"You know you can just tell me, when you're ready to work things out." Hoseok said and walked a little faster so he was ahead of Jungkook. He knew Jungkook wanted him back and now it was proven by Jungkook.
The group did all of their assignments and Hoseok made sure to stay a long way from Jungkook, so he could really feel that he missed him. When they were done they returned to the opening and had to put their tents up. Jimin and Hoseok worked well together but Hoseok kept an eye on Jungkook and Taehyung as well. They kept having small arguments about how it should be and it took a while for them to get it right. The teachers made them do some other activities and soon the night was falling upon them. They made a fire to make dinner over and Hoseok found it quite cozy. He sat eating with some of his friends when his eyes caught Jungkook's. Jungkook nodded towards the woods and showed five with his fingers. Hoseok nodded and saw Jungkook walk over there. Five minutes later he followed him.

"Jungkook?" Hoseok whispered and was surprised when he felt someone drag him behind a tree. Jungkook and him were standing face to face.

"I want to talk about us." Jungkook said, their bodies pressed together. Hoseok gave into Jungkook's embrace and leaned closer. He let a hand go up to Jungkook's cheek.

"Alright." Hoseok said and Jungkook leaned into Hoseok's hand.

"You're right. I want to be with you again. Though I don't like being ignored. I don't want to go back to a relationship where I'm not appreciated." Jungkook said and Hoseok listened carefully, he would do anything to get Jungkook back.

"I understand that. Don't worry about it. I'll never ignore you again and I'll appreciate you better than before." Hoseok said and let his hand go over Jungkook's body before it landed on his waist.

"You promise?" Jungkook asked his breath hitting Hoseok's face.

"I promise." Hoseok said and leaned closer, not able to stand so close to Jungkook without kissing him.

"I love you." Jungkook said and pulled Hoseok the rest of the way. Their lips really seemed like they had missed each other as well. Their hands tugged at each other's clothes pulling the other in. Hoseok felt relaxed and like he had gained something back, he had long lost. When they pulled away they were breathing heavy. Their bodies so close there was no room between them.

"I love you too." Hoseok said and Jungkook smiled. They kissed again this time just as passionate as the last. Their hands intertwined and they stood with their foreheads pressed together breathing heavy.

"I really did miss you." Jungkook said and smiled again.

"I really missed you too." Hoseok said and returned Jungkook's smile.

"I want to sleep in the same tent as you but I have to break up with Taehyung first." Jungkook said and Hoseok saw a little wave of guilt hitting him. "I'll go back first and talk to him okay?"

"Okay." Hoseok agreed and kissed him again. Jungkook walked back to the others and found Taehyung.

"Can we talk?" Jungkook asked and pulled Taehyung a little away. When they couldn't be heard by anyone else, Jungkook hugged him tightly. "It worked! It freaking worked!"

"It did? Ah I'm so happy for you." Taehyung said and hugged him back.

"He just talked to me and agreed not to ignore me and we kissed." Jungkook said and Taehyung smiled as they pulled out from the hug.

"That's really great." Taehyung said genuine happy for Jungkook.

"Now it's my turn to hold my end of the deal. I told Hoseok I want to sleep in the same tent as him, so hopefully Jimin will agree to switch tents. Then you can finally talk to him and hopefully get him to fall for you." Jungkook said and Taehyung nodded eager.

"This was great cooperation." Taehyung said. "Are you ever going to tell Hoseok we weren't really together?"

"Yeah in a month or two." Jungkook said and Taehyung nodded. "Now we have to pretend to be broken up so seem sad okay?"

"Okay." Taehyung agreed and they returned to the others. Jungkook saw Hoseok who talked to Jimin. They looked over at Taehyung and Jungkook and Jimin nodded. They talked a little longer and Jimin walked over to Taehyung.

"I guess we're sharing a tent." Jimin said shyly.

"I guess we do." Taehyung said with a down expression.

"I'll move my stuff." Jungkook said and walked to his and Taehyung's tent. He got his stuff and put it over to Hoseok and Hoseok took Jimin's things and moved it to Taehyung. The couple crawled into the tent afterwards and cuddled up.

"Did he take it alright?" Hoseok asked Jungkook their arms around each other.

"Yeah, I think he'll be okay." Jungkook said and kissed Hoseok. "I'm really happy we're together again."

"Me too." Hoseok said and pulled him closer. "And I really do promise I will do better."

"I know you will." Jungkook said and yawned. It really wasn't late but they both felt tired. They decided to just spend the rest of the evening in their tent. They held each other close and kissed until their lips were swollen. When it was time to sleep they spooned Hoseok being big spoon.

"I love you Jeon Jungkook." Hoseok whispered in his ear.

"I love you too Jung Hoseok." Jungkook whispered back and kissed his hand. Together they fell asleep into a peaceful night.
A month later when Jungkook told Hoseok that Taehyung and him hadn't really been dating, Hoseok only laughed and found it funny. Even years later he found it amusing, when he held Jungkook in his arms and thought about it.
