✨~Mating season~ part 2 (uke Gray)~✨

The dragons have all calmed down after the first day. The twin dragons went back to their nest after finding Rogue was with baby. As did Cobra and Midnight. Levy finally gave in and just snuggled against Gajeel, letting him do his thing. Laxus, he was just napping with Freed cuddled up to him under his wing. Gray sat at the bar with a drink when Natsu came up. He nudged his head under Gray's arm again and Gray smiled and pet him. Natsu purred and licked him a bit. Gray laughed. It was peaceful. Though, all of a sudden, all dragons were at alert. Something was wrong. Natsu scooted closer to Gray cautiously, wrapping around him protectively again, whimpering. Gray noticed he was worried, "Don't worry flamebrain, I'm not going anywhere." But boy, was he wrong. A giant roar was heard from outside. An unkown, red dragon busted through, crashing the walls, startling everyone.The dragons of FairyTail went into attack mode. He quickly searched and soon spotted his target. It happened in a flash, he went in and out just like that, though, "Natsu!!" That made Natsu snap. He took off as soon as he knew Gray was gone. Roaring at the other beast. He attacked him, threw fire at him. Desperately trying to get his mate back. But the dragon was too strong. Natsu fell back down towards the guild with a crash. He growled loudly ready to take off again, but Erza and Lucy got a hold of him, he fought against their hold. "Hey! Hey, everything's gonna be okay, we'll get him back somehow." Lucy reassured him. He looked at him desperately. He whined. Then he nudged Lucy's stomach trying to give them a sign. "What?" Lucy was confused. He tried again, nudging his head were Gray went and nudged her stomach again. Lucy gasped now understanding what he's trying to say. Gray's with child. His. He whined more. "Don't worry, we'll get him back. I promise." Lucy knelt by the dragon and placed her head against his comforting him. Natsu looked towards the sky where the dragon took off.

Time skip, with Gray

He opened his eyes, feeling the wind brush against him. There was a hold on him. He fought against it. "H-Hey! Take me back!" He punched the dragon with his fists as best as he could, but no budge. 'Hm, he picked a feisty one I see.' "Where are you taking me? More importantly why me?" He yelled against the wind. The dragon peeked at him and continued flying. He dove. Gray closed his eyes as they did. "I'm already mated, why don't you find someone else!" They stopped flying and landed in a huge nest. The dragon gently pushed Gray in it and curled around him. 'Now your safe.' Gray was so confused. This dragon looked so much like Natsu. Igneel? He put a hand on his tummy. Natsu, come save us! The dragon licked him. He tried pushing the giant head away, but no use. Please hurry!

Back with Natsu

"Let Natsu go." Master ordered. Natsu looked at him. "You think you can find him?" Lucy asked Natsu nodded quickly. He pounced backwards getting ready to fly, shaking his wings out. "Alright, Go." He took off. Time past. He sniffed the air searching for that delicious minty scent of his mate. He paused. He zoomed. He saw a giant nest. He got closer and soon he was able to see the dragon who took his mate. Aha! Found you! He roared. The dragon looked up. Gray looked too. He gasped, "Natsu!" Natsu landed in the nest, ready to fight. The red dragon glared at him until he calmed down. Natsu whimpered. The red dragon looked satisfied. Then he gently pushed Gray towards Natsu. Gray quickly went to Natsu's side under his wing. He was confused once again. The red dragon nodded approvingly of his sons chosen mate. Natsu thumped his tail gratefully. He licked Gray, happy to have him back safe. Then nudged at his tummy again. Gray held his face close to it, hugging him. The red dragon looked at his family. They're good for each other.

Time skip

The couple returned to their guild. "Guys! You're back!" Lucy exclaimed. The two landed gently in the doorway. Gray slid off Natsu. "Yeah, turns out, the dragon that took me was Natsu's father Igneel. I guess he just wanted to see if I was good mate for Natsu." He smiled fondly at Natsu, who pressed his nose against Gray's tummy and purred. The girls cooed. Master looked at them and smiled. Proud of his two children that has grown up and became a beautiful family together. The day ended.
