Gray's Pov

    I sat against a tree by the river. A knee against my chest. Face wet and hidden. 3 years. 3 years I spent with him and then all of a sudden, he calls it off. It was the best relationship I've had. I've had others, but this one I thought was the one.

Natsu's Pov

    "Where's Gray?" I walked into the guild, but didn't see Gray, my crush. "Oh, he's out with Loke in the park." Lucy answered. "They said they were gonna be back by lunch but, I haven't seen them since." Something must've happened. "Thanks Luce. See ya!" I ran out the door looking for Gray.

Time skip

      I made it to the river. I walked closer then I saw familiar black hair. There you are. I made my way towards him. "Hey droopy eyes." I squatted down to his height and grinned. He looked up a little, "What do you want flamebrain." "Just checking up on ya!" He looked away. Then I noticed his face was wet. "Hey, what happened?" He looked at me, "Oh, nothing happened." He quickly wiped his face with his sleeve. "It's not nothing, tell me." I brushed away his tears. He blushed a bit but sighed, defeatedly. "Alright, fine." There was a pause. "He broke up with me." He answered quietly. My eyes widened. "Oh, Gray." I pulled him against me. He buried his face in my chest quickly. He let out his tears. I held him tight. He gripped my shirt. "Shh." I comforted him. "Why does this always happen? Everyone I love, I lose. Or they leave me. Loke said it was time for him to go back into the spirit world. I understood. But then he said we should take a break. See other people. I thought he was one, Natsu, I really did. " more tears spilled. I kissed his head, "Not everyone." He froze, "What?" I looked down at him, "Not everyone leaves you." I smiled at him. Then I kissed him gently. He froze again. But soon melted. He kissed back. We soon pulled away. Gray followed, but then realized what he was doing. He blushed and looked away. "It's okay if you don't feel the same, but I love you Gray. I always have." He looked back at me. Then I felt lips on mine. We smiled through it. "I-I love you too, Natsu." He said shyly and blushed, looking away. I lifted his chin and kissed him again. He wrapped his arms around my neck and mine around his waist. We pulled back after a few minutes. He settled in my arms and we sat by the river the rest of the day.
