    "I-is he mine?" Laxus was asking Freed, not fully believing it. He had returned after a couple of years from being kicked out. Though during that time, Freed found out he was carrying, with Laxus's child. But before he could tell Laxus, the lightning mage had already disappeared. Now he's back. Freed was still recovering from shock at Laxus's return, "I-I," he couldn't speak. He looked down at his baby boy , Raiden, that was in his arms. Big, wide, dark eyes were looking around at his parents. Freed smiled softly at him and brushed away the deep yellow hair that was in his eyes. The baby giggle at his momma's touch. "Yeah, he is." Freed finally answered softly, barely a whisper. Raiden was now 2 years old. Laxus already missed that much of his life. He looked at his son in Freed's arms. "Could, could I hold him?" Freed looked up, he nodded slowly, placing Raiden gently in his father's arms. The baby cooed and immediately snuggled right up against Laxus. Freed smiled, "He likes you already." He whispered softly. Laxus chuckled. It was silent. The baby cooing. "Hey, Freed?" Freed looked up at Laxus again. "I love you. Even if I've been gone all this time, I haven't stopped thinking about you at all. About us. I still want to be with you. But, if it's alright with you, could I stay, and be apart of Raiden's life. Also be apart of yours again? I know I messed up, attacking Fairy Tail and then getting kicked out, but you still mean everything to me." Freed was speechless at this confession. Tears formed. "It was before you left that I found out about Raiden. I was about to tell you then, but, you've disappeared before I could." He whispered quietly. "But, yes, yes you can be apart of his life, and mine again. I still love you Laxus. I don't think we've actually even broke up." They both chuckled softly. Freed looked at his dragon slayer with a smile. Laxus returned it. Then Freed leaned up from his seat at the guilds bar and kissed Laxus. He smiled through it when Laxus responded. They heard a loud giggle. The two broke apart and looked at their baby boy. He was giggling. Visible electricity was flowing through his golden hair. He was definitely Laxus's child. Freed booped his nose with a smile. Arm around Laxus. Laxus pulled him closer. Freed laid his head on his shoulder and kissed his neck. His dragon slayer was finally home and he couldn't be happier.
