Gray looked over to where Natsu was with everyone else. He chuckled a bit. The girls are teasing him and Natsu is getting all flustered and embarrassed. He was trying to pull his vest closer together, but the girls wouldn't let him. "Because he eats a lot!" Gray heard Cana say and saw her grab some of Natsu's belly squishing it. Natsu whined and squirmed, trying to break free from them not liking the attention he was getting. "Cana, come on let him be," Lucy giggled a bit trying to get Cana off her pink haired friend. After a few minutes of back and forwarth, Natsu was finally let go and he took his chance to escape to his home that he shared with Gray. Time skip. He closed the door behind him and slid down to the floor. He let out a sigh. He loved the girls, yes, but sometimes he needed a break, like now. He looked up and saw his mirror. He walked over and started to look at himself. He grabbed some of his belly and squished. Am I really that chubby? He thought back to what Cana had said. Sure he eats a lot, maybe sometimes goes a little overboard with food, but he couldn't help it. He needs energy and, he likes his food. He's a growing teen. He was so focused on himself that he didn't hear his boyfriend come in. "Hey, you okay?" Gray asked softly, wrapping his arms around Natsu's waist from behind. He buried his face in Natsu's neck and kissed it. Natsu nodded, "Yeah, yeah I'm fine, just thinking." He leaned into Gray. This took Gray by surprised. Thinking? Flamebrain never thinks. But Gray kept to himself and let Natsu continue. "Gray?" He hummed in response. "Am I chubby? Like am I getting big?" Gray finally lifted his head off his shoulder, "What? What makes you think that?" Natsu sighed again, "I don't know. It's just, the girls were talking about my chubbiness and I don't know, I know that they were just teasing, but," he grabbed his belly again. "But it's getting to you?" Gray finished for him. Natsu nodded. "Come here." Gray took Natsu's hands and he lead them backwards to their bed. Gray didn't stop until he felt his knees hit the bed and he sat. He kept Natsu standing in front of him. Natsu looked down. "You are not chubby." Gray started. Natsu looked at him. "But," Gray interrupted him, "Natsu, you are the most beautiful person I know. Sure, you may eat, a ton, but that's okay. You're growing. A growing person needs food. So what if you are a little chubby? It doesn't stop me from loving you. To me you're perfect the way you are, the chubbiness just makes you even more adorable." Natsu blushed at that. Gray smiled at him and continued, "Don't let anyone tell you different. Okay? If they do, I'll fight them." they both chuckled. Gray pulled Natsu closer to him until he's on his lap. He hugged him, "I love you." He murmured into the soft pink hair. Natsu smiled, "I love you too." He whispered, snuggling closer to Gray. Natsu's smile grew bigger. He had the best boyfriend ever.
