Y/n Pov,
Last night I woke up in the middle of the night in a panic. Inigo and Lydia jolt up and grab their weapons from me screaming.
"Friend! Are you ok?" Inigo asked before rushing to my side.
Lydia simply rolled her eyes by the obvious crush that Inigo has on me. I turn to Lydia but she had already laid back down on her bedroll. I turn red a little because Inigo was slightly closer than comfortable. I lean back a little so he isn't so far close to me.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to invade your personal space." Inigo scooted back a little before making an effort to check on me. "Did you have a nightmare? Did silly spiders crawl in your bedroll and tickle you?"
"No, I just had a bad feeling wash over me. I can't explain it but thank you for checking on me."
I lay back down but Inigo didn't go back to his bedroll he sat there leaned against a stump and rock to watch over Lydia and me. He left a hand-stretched in my direction in case I woke up in a panic again. I woke up again but this time it was dawn and I needed to wake up anyway. I saw Inigo could be seen sitting up holding the hilt of his sword in a deep sleep. I simply chuckled before I quietly cleaned up camp. I knew Lydia liked to sleep in a little bit longer so I knew not to mess with her unless I wanted to deal with her being grumpy. Inigo heard me cleaning up so he jumped up and immediately started helping me clean up what was left of the camp. Lydia could be heard stirring and she could also be heard muttering what a bunch of dumbasses.
"Hey, Lydia, the camp is cleaned up and we were about to head off."
"Why not you love birds go on ahead and confess?"
"What do you mean?"
I was a stuttering mess. Inigo didn't hear Lydia luckily so I was still safe. I glared at her one good time before turning to leave in a haste. I ran up to Inigo and watched as the grass moved from the wildlife and Inigo and me traveling. The silence was very relaxing but it was also anxiety-inducing. I had a huge dorky crush on Inigo and since Lydia knew it she didn't let that rest. It didn't help that it was very obvious.
All in a quick moment I'm pushed into Inigo where I'm laying on top of him. He gets very flustered while I try to scurry off him. I could hear Lydia cursing to herself before helping Inigo up.
Later that day I start to set up camp and I hear Inigo trip over something and he lands on top of me this time. Inigo made an effort to say something but it just came out as random spurts of words being mushed together. Lydia could be heard huffing from her attempt to get us to do something else besides being awkward.
In the middle of the night, I was in a deep sleep so Lydia dragged me over to Inigo's sleep roll. She then proceeded to sit watch until my night terrors happen. Lucky for her it took her five minutes of waiting before I jolted up screaming. Inigo responded by wrapping himself around me and sitting up sleep delirious and started stroking my hair to calm me down. Almost immediately I calm down and lay back down.
"One point for Lydia," Lydia muttered under her breath before going to sleep herself.
Morning rolled around and Inigo's arms were wrapped around my waist. I slightly jump because I was not expecting to wake up so close to him. I try to slip his arm off me but he jolts awake and flies back from the immediate sight of me.
"Oh, love birds just confess that y'all like each other and get on with the relationship. I've been watching on the sidelines for so long that I'm just damn sick and tired of watching it happen before me."
"Oh..."
"Lydia, I am sorry that my constant awkwardness around Y/n has bothered you."
I've updated again...
