Yato Uchiha (Naruto fanfic)

Part 111

Yato leapt through the village, his eyes locked on the blond target in front of him.

Karin was draped over his shoulder but didn't show any emotion seeing she was use to this already.

Naruto stood calmly in front of Sakura, talking about something. "So you're saying Yato is back here already?" Naruto asked looking around if Yato was close by.

"Yeah, he came back with a group actually. Yo-" Sakura was instantly cut off as Naruto was tackled to the ground, kicking up a huge cloud of dust.

The young blond's eyes widen as a dark figure stood over him while he was flat on his back.

"Naruto Uzumaki" The figure said coldly. Naruto tried backing up but instantly slammed into the wall.

"Who are you and why the heck are you so creepy?" Naruto shouted as the figure walked ever so closer.

"You have a dept to pay" The figure quickly extending his open hand to Naruto. Awaiting payment.

The boy shakily took out his frog wallet but as he opened it, all that was in it was a dead fly.

The dust quickly disappeared as well as the figure falling onto the ground in defeat. "Dam you fate! " Yato shouted with total utter defeat.

Naruto examined the person. In front of him closely. With hesitation he lifted the scarf on his head, being met with the dark hair of Yato.

"Wait Yato?"

The boy only gave a half hearted thumbs up when Naruto suddenly engulfed the boy in a hug. Yato's boy flayed around as Naruto jumped with happiness. "I thought you died! Pervy sage said you died by Orochimaru!"

Yato's soulless body suddenly shot back to life. "Why the heck would I die from that creep?"

Naruto slowly placed Yato down, seeing in the corner of his eye how Sakura was talking to a red haired girl.

"Hay who's that?" Naruto asked looking to the red haired girl who has her back turned to them.

"That's Karin. She was one of Orochimaru's ninjas until she decided to join me about a year ago. She's been traveling wherever I go. Another thing, she is also an Uzumaki"

Naruto looked closely at Karin wondering if she's a half-breed seeing her hair isn't blond like his.

"Alright you two can catch up later, Lord Raiu asked me to bring you two to the Kage tower. You to Karin" Sakura said once she noticed Naruto and Yato have finished their reunion.

"Lord Raiu?" Naruto asked looking over to Yato.

Yato sighed loudly as he followed Sakura and Karin with Naruto trailing behind him.

"Yeah, Raiu is the Hokage now"
"WHAT!!!!"

"Glad to see everyone is here" Raiu said as the group entered through the door.

"What the heck!? Meatball actually became the hokage!?!" Naruto shouted with disbelief as he saw Raiu behind the kage's desk with a white cloak strapped over his shoulders.

"Hay, why are you calling me meatball?" Raiu asked giving Naruto the stick eye.

Yato simply shrugged "It's a good nickname so it was bound to rub off some time"

Raiu gave off a small grunt before continuing, "Anyway it seems that team 7 has mostly been reunited."

A silence falls between the three as they remember their only missing link.

"Now their are three things we need to discuss, first off, team 7's prime objective is to track down Sasuke Uchiha. When Sasuke is captured, the choice of what to do with him will lay in the hands of three people."

"Wait who are these three people?" Naruto asked fearing that they will decide on killing Sasuke.

"That is something I can't disclose at this moment. Anyway team 7 has to take a test right now to measure how strong you all have gotten in the last few years."

"Wait an exam, you can't be serious, there's no way that ill write another exam in my life... Not after those dreaded academy's exams"

"Yeah, Yato did terrible in them so there is no chance he will pass" Naruto added.
"You didn't do so good in them either Naruto, Yato did better than you Mr dead last" A quick slap came from Sakura as she said this.

"Enough, I didn't mean that sort of exam. We will be having a sparing match. Naruto and Sakura, your opponent is out that window" Raiu stated pointing to the window behind him.

With a quick push from Naruto, the window went open revealing Kakashi sitting quietly on the roof.

"Kakashi sensei!?"

"So who will i be going against?" Yato asked turning his gaze away from Naruto and Kakashi.

"You and Karin will be going against me" Raiu quickly stoop up to tower over Yato in hopes to see slight fear in the boy but instead he only got a blank stare and Karin who was mumbling to herself about how she was gonna die here.
After a while of Yato and Raiu staring at each other to intimidate one another, Sakura finally broke the silence.

"Lord Hokage, you said there were three things?"

"Oh right, the other thing is that Karin will be joining team seven from now on as a new member"
Raiu said, his eyes never leaving the cold gaze of Yato's.
