tsukishima x reader

i know that i still have to write the nishinoya one but uhm, let's just go for this stick for today. btw, i'm sorry for being inactive. i didn't expect school to just make us do more projects right after our break.

    The life of an average high school student, someone who never really catches anyone's attention. Oh, that average high school student's me. I'm pretty normal, unlike everyone else. I'm different that's all.

    I'm that side character in an anime who shows up for only 30 seconds then won't show up until the big event. If it was a fantasy anime, I probably would've been the first one to die. Life of a girl who doesn't stand in the spotlight.

    My best friend decided to drag me away again. I don't like protesting because I'm lazy, I don't even want to say anything. She likes dragging me to the gym to watch the basketball game, I was supposed to run away and stay in the infirmary to sleep.

    She let go of my hand when we entered the place, turning to me with glistening eyes. She.. is her own spotlight. Too bright for me. "(Y/n), come on here! You won't be able to see them from there silly." I never wanted to come here in the first place.

    She pulled me to some female students, who are currently squealing their hearts out to cheer for the boys, she joined them. I rest my arms on the railings, watching the boys run around the court as they dribbled the ball.

    Takashiro Hayato, the basketball team's first year starter. He's definitely someone who stands in the spotlight, and he's really handsome too. But! I heard some rumors about him being a playboy, and I've seen him in action myself.

    Then there's Springy, I call him that because he's really springy. Hinata Shoyou, he's one of the main players of the volleyball team. Everyone thinks that he's just a replacement for one of the starters--he literally shines though. Maybe not in basketball though.. he just got hit by the ball.

    We have a joined PE class at the moment and I don't really like these classes. It's exhausting. "Tsukishima-kun!" I hear the girls squeal. Tsukishima..? Who's that? "Look! He's so handsome!" 

    Out of curiosity,  I searched the court to look for him. Who is he though? Which of them is he? "Oi shittyshima!" Hinata yells, throwing the ball to him.

    "Tsukishima-kun caught the ball!"

    "He's so cool!"

    Eh? He looks like an asshole though. I don't get what they mean. I then see Yamaguchi approach the blonde, they're friends...? The contrast--how are they friends? Whatever, Yamaguchi's nice to pretty much everyone.

    I turn to my friend, seeing her fawning over Kageyama Tobio. He is handsome, he doesn't look like someone interested in romance fantasies though. Unlike her, she's really into shoujou manga. I can't help but look away.

    Spotlights.. Hinata clearly radiates his own light, and even if Kageyama's kage mean shadow.. he shines. I mean he has an aura around him, dominating and scary. It attracts people. Whereas, people like me have none of such.

    But, what's making me weirded out is that stick--I mean Tsukishima. He doesn't have the attracting aura, nor is his presence that big, or maybe he just doesn't seem like it because of his appearance? Girls are drooling over him though.
