it's been two days since layla's mother and father's birthday and two days since she broke up with emma mutually as emma wanted to break up with layla knowing her girlfriend still liked anna more than friends.

emma and layla were okay, they were friends it might take them a long time getting back to being close friends but as long as they were friends, layla and emma were happy.

layla smiled seeing her mom drive into the driveway in her tesla, getting out of her car kissing her daughter's forehead coming past layla who was gonna hang out with her friends from arizona.

she knocks onto her chlidhood best friend's door seeing lucas's mother, danielle standing there with a half smile, "layla," danielle brings the girl into her arms, not seeing layla for about eight months, "how long has it been?"

she asked pulling back to let go of layla who chuckles, "too long way too long, is lucas home?" danielle shakes her head, "he's actually out with ruby  and jeremiah,"

layla nods her head, "oh okay," she cleared her throat, "well i'm here until monday so if he wants to hang out, can you tell him?" danielle nods her head, "yeah sure sweetie, it was god seeing you,"

layla smiles coming away from the carter household running her fingers through her brunette hair, she hadn't seen or spoken to lucas since she left in june with noah.

she hoped he wasn't still mad at her for leaving him here, lucas also had a tiktok account, he was friends with bryce parker, rachel brockham and other members of the vivid house, he had one million followers.

their friends always used to challenge each other on who would get the most followers, however layla didn't care about that as she didn't get tiktok until she went to los angeles in june, she didn't think she would ever download that app but she did as she was so happy that she did.

a knock was heard on layla's bedroom window, she turns her head looking to her bedroom window seeing lucas standing there with a small smile.

she comes over to her window, unlocking it before opening her window as lucas rolled into her bedroom, "hey," lucas stands up hugging layla in his arms.

he missed his best friend, he was mad at her for leaving him back in june but it's been eight months since she left, she always wanted to go back and see him but she just couldn't face him knowing he was mad, "i missed you,"

layla hugs lucas back, "i missed you too," he kissed the top of his best friend's head, pulling back from layla, sitting at the edge of her bed, "so how's being in a content house?"

she smiled, "good, it's weird, i always said that i wouldn't do tiktok but look at me now on tiktok with over 10 million followers," lucas chuckled, "i knew once you got there, you would start doing tiktoks, i mean la is like the place for tiktoks," layla chuckles.

"how's everyone?"

lucas looked at his best friend, "they're good but everyone misses you, i can't believe it's been eight months since you were back here," layla nods her head, "it's crazy,"

he runs his fingers through his brunette hair, "ruby still cant believe how many followers you have," layla bit her lip, "yeah.." he cleared his throat, "but she's happy for you, she knows you're working hard down there," layla nods her head.

she smiles, "wanna make a tiktok?" lucas nods his head, "that's so weird hearing you say that," layla chuckles looking at him, "come on," she takes his hand as she sets up her ring light putting her phone against it.

lucas showed a dance bryce did, and layla put the sound onto her iphone copying bryce's movements as lucas already knew the dance, she played the audio dancing to the sound with lucas behind her doing the same movements.

before he smiles at layla from behind, hugging his best friend from behind picking layla up then throwing her down onto her bed, "hahaha,"

she looked back at the video getting off of her bed, coming to her phone watching the video with lucas before posting the tiktok captioning it.

everyone started to like the video following or liking the video they did on lucas's tiktok account, with some people assuming that layla cheated on emma with lucas.

layla rolls her eyes at those types of comment, her and emma both said on instagram that they ended things on good terms and they are friends still, and they didn't want either one of them to get hate from them breaking up, and tiktokroom and tiktokinsiders both reposted layla's and emma's instagram stories on their tiktokroom pages.

lucas had just left the beck household as noah comes into his twin sister's bedroom placing himself at the edge of his sister's bed looking at layla who was on her laptop, messaging kelly about when she's coming back home to las vegas in two days time.

"how long are you staying for?"

noah asked layla who looked away from her laptop taking out her airpod looking at her twin brother, "i'm leaving in two days," noah nods his head, "we both booked to go back on the same day but extended it, just so we could stay here for more longer,"

noah said chuckling, layla runs her fingers through her hair, "noah, do you think i'm a whore for dating emma when i still like anna?" noah shakes his head, "no, you're not, you wanted to get over her, you tried but obviously it didn't work, emma knew that and she understands that right?"

layla nods her head thinking about emma, "mhm-mm," she lets out a breath, "cause i just like feel like i lead emma on, i feel really bad," noah frowned rubbing his sister's back as he sits next to her, "you haven't, you tried with emma, and—"

layla feels a tear fall down her face, "i just don't want to hurt anyone," noah shakes his head bringing layla into his arms, "i promise it's okay, i've talked to emma and she understands, okay?" layla sniffles nodding her head.

noah looked at layla, "but layla, if anna hurts you again, you know i will talk to her right?" layla nods her head at what he was saying, "i know," she said looking into her brother's eyes, "i just like her so much.."

he rubbed her back seeing kelly, his sister's manager messaging her about how she has a photoshoot in two days in los angeles with vogue again, layla responds back getting out of noah's arms who kissed his sister's head walking out of layla's bedroom.
