Several hours passed, and Hinata woke up. He found himself being held tightly against Kageyama's chest. The last memory he had was of the doctor and nurse putting something in His IV so he could have the MRI done. And Kageyama going with Daichi and the officer.

He nuzzled his face against Kageyama's chest. He was happy he was back, and the police hadn't taken him.

"I'm happy you're here, " he said quietly and felt Kageyama shift a little.

"You're awake? Do you feel okay?" do you want to get the nurse?" Kageyama asked somewhat rapidly and in one worried breath.

Hinata giggled a bit.

"I'm fine, don't worry. I just want to be alone with you for a little bit longer, " he said and cuddled himself more into Kageyama's arms.

Kageyama felt himself relax again as he held Hinata closer.

Just then, there was a soft knock on the door right before it opened. Kageyama sat up. Slightly to see who it was.

He saw the doctor, officer Tailor, Daichi, and his parents, along with Hinata's mom.

Officer Tailor came closer to the bed. Hinata sat up next to Kageyama and held on to his arm, worried about what was going to happen.

"I had prepared to arrest you," The officer said as he got closer. Hinata clenched onto Kageyama's arm tighter.  "You owe a thank you to His mom," he continued and pointed to Hinata's mom. "If it hadn't been for her telling me what his uncle did the  both of them when he was a kid, then I would have had no choice."

Kageyama looked at Hinata's mom and to his parents. He couldn't really think of anything to say at that moment.

Officer Tailor coughed to clear his throat.

"There is one problem. However, If his uncle dies from the injury's then we will have no choice other than to arrest you," Kageyama felt a lump in his chest as he thought about that possibility.

"Can I have a moment to speak to my patient, " the doctor said.

Everyone nodded and followed the officer out of the room. The doctor sat on a chair by the bed, holding a clipboard.

"I looked over all the images from the MRI, CT scan, and x-ray. My suspicions were correct. The scar tissue is what is interfering with your pheromones and partly affecting your heats; it's also causing you to release more fear pheromones than you should."

Hinata tilted his head a bit in confusion.

"Is there any way to fix it?" He asked.

"Surgery, " Kageyama answered the question before the doctor could.

The doctor nodded in response.
