Jisoo enjoyed the dinner not only because the food was good, but also because she had a great time with her dad. Eating out was not exactly their family tradition, but nevertheless, since they rarely did it, they usually made the most of it as mark of big events.
It's not like I leave him out of town, but still she felt like it was hard for her dad to separate from his only daughter. In their way back home in the bus, she looked at her dad who was sitting beside her, he was texting with his co-workers. She bet it was about work. At this hour.
He'd been working really hard to pay back their debts and to save up; now that they were free of debt, her dad was still saving money for Jisoo. He could've bought a car to easier himself to go to work, but he chose to bank deposit the funds in case Jisoo'd have trouble and they need the cash to finish her college.
Jisoo had always tried to make her own money since she was in high school; her dad never agreed with that. He said he still can provide. He didn't want her to think beyond her age. But Jisoo was one stubborn daughter; she always found her way to find part time jobs and of course her dad could do nothing about it.
Her mind then shifted to someone else. Jisoo was thinking of Jennie. Well, actually the girl had crossed her mind uninvited from time to time. Sometimes it was when she cut the carrots, sometimes it was when she watched a great show on TV with her dad, sometimes it was when she was about to sleep; and 'sometimes' was an understatement.
