Jisoo then took Jennie to Hongdae where they tried all types of street food. Jisoo found it delightful they finally can do this without being awkward.

When she was Jennie's driver, Jisoo had been holding herself back, keeping a safe distance; physically and mentally. All summer, she kept reminding herself that she was nobody to Jennie, that the time they spent together was meaningless for Jennie. And it was killing her.

And now that they were finally friends again, Jisoo was determined to make up for the lost time.

So she made all attempts of jokes she could think of just to earn a laughter from the girl she adored; the sight of a happy Jennie was a drug to her.

Who would've thought that there's something that can make you feel more alive than just living a life?

Jennie, on the other hand, was giving her the smile and laughter generously.

"Jisoo you're so silly. Stop making me laugh."

"You laugh even before I say anything."

That was true; Jennie felt like her stomach was being constantly tickled; beaming with happiness, she was on the verge of giddiness as she saw the sight of this Jisoo. She couldn't help herself.

"Jisoo, let's go there!"

Jennie bounced to a nearby shop. Jisoo read the sign:

DIY SHOP: Make your own jewelry!

Crafting wasn't something Jisoo passionate about; but Jennie insisted; so Jisoo found herself on a working bench, melted a piece of ring bar and engraved something on it: a pair of rings.

"Jisoo, craft JJ 4 eva there, okay?" Jennie was making sure that Jisoo was following her, "And put your name on the back side of the metal..."

Jisoo looked at Jennie, she was all focused and enjoyed what she was doing; her ring looked pretty good and she was engraving the words carefully. Jisoo looked to hers, suddenly she felt pity for that piece of metal.

Oh, well, no one cares anyway... She did it just because Jennie made her to; so she didn't put effort into her ring.

After they'd finished the design, they proceeded with the shaping and polishing the rings. At last, they completed all the steps and had their rings ready to wear.

"Where's your ring, Jisoo?" Jennie eagerly wanted to see it.

Jisoo showed Jennie hers and disappointment flooded on Jennie's face.

"Why are the  letters look mad at one another?'" Jennie frowned, "They are all over the place. Omg, Jisoo, this ring is so ugly!"

Jisoo looked at Jennie's; her ring looked pretty neat.

"Jennie, since it's mine I don't really mind."

She was about to give Jennie back her ring but then Jennie put on the ring she made.

"I tried my best to make a nice ring for you and this is the best you can give to me? Why is it so bumpy?" Jennie pouted while looking at Jisoo's ring on her finger.

"But, isn't it mine and this is yours? It has my name on it." Jisoo was confused.

"No, this is the point of couple- I mean friendship ring," Jennie face reddened, "You wear mine and I wear yours."

Jisoo paused for a while, "Why didn't you tell me? I could've tried harder."

"You're so dumb. Just put it on... Look... it looks good on you!"

Jisoo stared at the letters on the ring: JJ 4eva ♡.

She suddenly felt warmth creeping on her whole body. This is such a beautiful ring, she thought.

"Come on, let's go to the park now. You promised me you'll take me there." Jennie looked at the time, she was worried if it was too late for Jisoo and she would cancel it.

"Okay let's go."

"Put the ring on your left hand Jisoo, look at mine. There you go."
