"We're here..." Taehyung parked his car on the ferry boat. In any minute, they'd cross to Jeju Island. It'd take about 4 hours by ferry, then they'd drive to the villa. "Send a text to Jinyoung, please."
"He said they're in the restaurant."
"Okay, let's get some food."
"Jisoo, stop pouting. You're killing the mood."
"Oh I love the sea. Don't you love the sea, babe?"
"No, she doesn't. Jisoo can't swim."
It was quite a big event for science students, since it was the first time they held a Welcoming Party and Reception in Jeju Island. They usually had it anywhere around the university complex.
"This year freshmen are special, aren't they?"
"Where do we get the funds from? This is sick!"
"I don't know. But we're now elite. Jeju, here we come!"
Taehyung, Lisa, Jisoo and Soojoo went to the restaurant and joined Bona and Jinyoung.
"Jinyoung, how come we can rent a property in Jeju?"
"The student president made it happen. She made some calls."
"Irene?"
"You know her?"
"She was Jisoo's mentor last year."
"By the way, Jisoo. What's with the long face?"
"She has motion sickness," Lisa answered, "ignore her."
Jisoo pouted. They ordered some food and they continued the conversation.
"So this Irene noona was really involved? That's new." Taehyung was curious.
"We got some donations from science alumni too, but yeah Irene pulled this through."
"Uhmm sugar mommy..."
"Go flirt with her, instead, Soojoo."
"You wish, Tae! I'm loyal to Jisoo." Soojoo rested her head on Jisoo's shoulder. She used one hand to hold her chopsticks and she put the other hand on Jisoo's thigh. She noticed that Jisoo was quiet today and she didn't think it was because the open sea.
"Are you okay?" she asked.
"I am." Jisoo said flatly while eating her meal.
"We're going to be there soon. You can rest comfortably later." she smiled.
Jisoo smiled back. She couldn't wait till it's Monday again.
