LUKANETTE S4 - DEAREST FAMILY - PT 3

A cheerful sound of a motor horn was heard just outside the bakery. The motorcycle parks in front the bakery with Gina on board. She then takes off her helmet.

Chloe is in the background as she hears her father tell her he couldn't get any galette. 'Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous! Are you kidding me??' Chloe cries out.

Rolland panics, brings down the box of galette and fixes his hair. 'Gina?'

'Mom?' Tom says.

Rolland, Tom and Sabine open the door. Marinette goes to join them as well before Tikki stops her.

'Um, Marinette, what are you going to do with that... that galette?' Tikki smiles longingly as she points at the galette on the shelf.

Marinette smiles. 'Don't worry, Tikki. I'll put aside a piece for you and the others. Come meet my grandma Luka!' Marinette says as she grabs his hand and runs towards the bakery exit.

Gina smiles upon seeing her. 'Happy birthday, Marinetta!' She leans on her motorcycle gift wrapped with a big red ribbon.

'Mom, Marinette's last birthday was six months ago and you were there!' Tom replies.

'Oh, this year has gone by a little fast!' Gina says.

Rolland groans. 'How can anyone have their head so far up in the clouds?! A birthday's a birthday! A Galette's Day is a Galette's Day!'

'Who cares? A party is a party! We put candles on the galette and Marinetta will get the present six months earlier, that's all!' Gina says as she turns to Marinette. 'Happy birthday, sweetheart! It's a beauty, isn't it?' Rolland, Tom and Sabine groan. 'Eighteen hundred cubic centimeters, 2V cylinders, zero to three hundred kilometers per hour in five seconds flat!'

Rolland sighs. 'Gina! We're talking about a sixteen-year-old girl!'

'There's no way she's going to ride that... thing!' Tom says.

'And why not?' Gina asks.

Luka notices Tikki sneaking out of Marinette's purse.

'Psst! Marinette!' Luka whispers to get her attention.

Marinette looks over at Luka who looks over at the bakery at Tikki who is about to get her hands on the box of galette inside the bakery.

'Nothing is too good for my little fairy!' Gina continues arguing.

Marinette gasps and runs inside the bakery and snatches the box of galette from Tikki. 'Tikki! What are you doing?' she whispers.

Tikki sighs happily. 'I was just trying to... g-get a... sniff of this fabulous galette! Ah!' She zooms back into Marinette's purse.

Marinette's family and Luka enter the bakery, which sends Marinette to fumble over the box of galette she was holding.

'Ahh! Oh, there you are!' Marinette says as she manages to catch the box, nervously. 'I was... just about to bring this galette to the living room! So, we can eat it... as a family! Right?'

Gina, Rolland, Tom and Sabine stare blankly at her. Luka looks worried.

'Anyway, grandma, you haven't met my boyfriend Luka yet!' Marinette says.

'Ahh, nice to meet such a nice boy worthy of my little fairy Marinetta!' Gina says. 'You like the bike gift right?'

'Sure, but maybe you should ask Mari-' Luka begins.

'See, Luka likes it!' Gina says to Rolland, Tom and Sabine.

In the living room, Luka, Gina, Rolland, Tom and Sabine sit together on the sofa.
