SEASON 4 - LUKANETTE

LUKANETTE S4 - SIMPLEMAN - PT 5

On Jagged's tour bus, Jagged, Juleka and Luka turn back to normal.

'What happened?' Juleka says.

'You got me sis; the last hour feels like it was just a blur!' Luka replies.

'Then let's make up for lost time and get back to jamming again kids!' Jagged says as they pick up their guitars and start playing music again.

Simpleman had turned back into Rolland.

'Pound it!' Ladybug and Cat Noir say together as they do their signature fist bump.

Manon, Ella, Etta and Chris giggle and hug Ladybug and Cat Noir's legs.

'Ladybug, Cat Noir! You saved us!' Manon smiles.

Ladybug smiles down at them. 'No, kids. You saved us!'

'And to think we were this close to giving away our Miraculous... for candy?' Cat Noir said.

Ladybug sighs. 'Of all the things we've faced, I never would've thought that such a simple power would be the most dangerous.'

Ladybug creates a Magical Charm and gives it to Rolland.

'Mr. Dupain, this magical charm will protect you from Shadowmoth' Ladybug smiled.

'Oh, is that so? How could this little thing protect me from Shadow-What's-His-Name? The world used to be so simple, I used to understand it! Now I don't understand anything anymore.' Rolland sighs.

'You know, Grandpa Rolland, we don't understand everything either' Chris says.

'But we are used to it!' Etta replies.

'And what's cool is what we don't know, we can learn!' Ella smiles.

'It's funny it's kind of like a game that you have to win each time, but you're a grown-up and you're not used to it anymore, so it scares you' Manon says.

'You think I can still learn something at my age?' Rolland asks.

'Sure, if you want!' Etta giggles.

Rolland takes the kids back home to his place and Ladybug swings off, turns off the LadyCam and detransforms in secret.

'I think I'd better tell Adrien I can't watch any more of his filming, I think I'd better give my grandpa a break!' Mari smiled at Tikki in her purse.

Tikki giggled. 'Yeah, four kids would be hard enough for anybody, but you have to admit, those kids really came through today!'

'Your right Tikki! They are a lot smarter than we think!' Marinette smiled.

After detransforming in secret himself, Adrien sighs as he puts his angel wings back on. 'What am I doing, honestly? I think I'm finding this so complicated because the truth is, I'm scared that Marinette will reject me if I tell her how I feel about her. That she won't even want to be my friend anymore, and I can't stand to lose her friendship. Even if I can't be more than friends with her, if I lost her friendship, I think my heart would break into a million pieces.'

'So, you're not going to tell her how you feel?' Plagg asks.

'Not right now Plagg. I'm going to keep my feelings to myself for now.'

That's a relief  Plagg thinks to himself.

Marinette comes over to him.

'Adrien?' she says.
