LUKANETTE S4 - RISK - PT 6

At the Gare du Nord. Luka cycles up to the station and Mari gets off and runs inside as Luka locks his bike up.

The Risk mark on her neck activates once more.

Marinette calls out, 'Adrien! Adrien, you can't leave yet!'

Lila frowns while Nathalie looks on in surprise. Felix smiles fondly at her. Sweet Marinette... he thinks to himself.

She stops to catch her breath. 'Ah! What I mean is uh... Paris needs you! Cause you know, Paris without Adrien Agreste is kinda like, Paris without the Eiffel Tower! I just thought, if all your fans are sad about you leaving, they're all at risk of being akumatised! Please, talk to your father and tell him that you can't go away for such a long time! I know this isn't what you want!'

'I really don't want to leave everyone... especially you Marinette...' 'Adrien' smiles.

'Oh, that's sweet... I guess... But, what about Kagami? She'll really miss you too. If this isn't what you want to do you should tell your father!' Marinette pleads.

'I've tried Marinette, but he just won't listen' Felix replies.

'You HAVE to insist! Stand up to him, you have to trust yourself and take that risk!'

'Adrien' sighs. 'I don't have the courage. Unlike you, I'm not brave.'

Announcer on loudspeaker: "The Startrain number 5712 to London is about to depart. Please mind the closing doors."

Nathalie pats Felix's shoulder. 'We have to go, Adrien.'

Felix looks back at Marinette, entering the train.

He smiles lovingly at her. 'I'm sorry Marinette, but I must go. Fare thee well, sweet Marinette' he says as he blows her a kiss. Lila looks furious.

The Startrain departs the station, and Mari is left sad and confused.

'Was it just me, or did Adrien seem to be acting weird?' Tikki asked.

'Yeah... a little bit....' Mari replied.

Luka came running up to her. 'No luck?' he asked, as they watched the train pull away from the station.

'No, unfortunately...' Marinette sighs.

Luka hugs her. 'It will be okay' he says to her. 'You'll always have my help, no matter what happens.' He kisses her hair. 'Come on, let's go.' Mari smiles at him as he takes her hand and leads her back to his bicycle outside the station.

He must have decided to not give me the cat miraculous. Maybe he thought the team would be okay without Cat Noir for a while. Luka thought to himself. He sighed.

'Everything okay?' Mari asked him.

'Yeah, yeah. Just going to miss Adrien too, you know?' Luka smiled. 'How about some ice-cream? To take our minds off it?' Luka suggested.

'Sounds great!' Mari replied.

In Gabriel's atelier, Adrien enters, searching frantically for his father... but to no avail.

'Father... father?' Adrien calls out. I wonder where he could be?

On the Startrain, Felix drops his bag on the seat beside Lila's, and looks at Nathalie talking to Gabriel via her smart glasses.

Nathalie: "Your son is safe, sir."

Gabriel smiles, at the top of Eiffel Tower.

Gabriel: "Thank you Nathalie. Bon voyage." He hangs up and takes off his tie. 'Nooroo, Duusu, dual metamorphosis!' He transforms into Shadowmoth.

Risk cycles below him. 'I'm Froggy, here I come, I'm not afraid of anyone!'

Parisians scratch their necks as Risk passes by their vicinity.

Shadowmoth smirks. 'It's time you finally started taking some risks Ladybug!' He takes a feather from his fan and charges it with magic turning it into an Amok. 'Go, my beautiful amok, and bring my creation to life!'

The amok creates a new sentimonster... Strikeback.

Shadowmoth grins: 'Strikeback, you will wreak havoc throughout Paris! Thanks to you, I am certain that Ladybug will finally make a mistake!'

Strikeback walks forward. Parisians are seen to be not afraid of the giant sentimonster.

'Hey, right over here!' one Parisian says.

'I can get a selfie with him; I'll get so many likes!' says another.

Andre smiles. 'Hey! I have a perfect ice cream for you, Mr. Villain! Hot pepper for some spice, sugar hazelnut for the ultimate thrill!'

'I just can't believe my good friend is really gone, Luka' Mari sighs. Luka squeezes her hand and smiles.

'It will be okay my melody' Luka replies softly, smiling lovingly at her.

Tikki smiles from her purse. 'Luka's right Marinette! He'll be back before you know it! He's just going on a voyage!'

Marinette's Risk mark activates again. 'Of course, Voyage! Marinette may have failed, but Pegabug will bring him back! And together, Viperion and I will go talk to his father! He'll listen to us!'

Luka gasps. 'What?'

'You wanna use the Miraculous of the Horse and teleport yourself, just for that?' Tikki exclaims.

Marinette smiles determinedly. 'I'm ready to risk everything to help my friend, Adrien!' She jumps into a secluded alleyway. 'Tikki, spots on!'

In Gabriel's room, Adrien still searches for his father.

'Father?'

The risk mark activates, and Adrien spots something gleaming on the floor... the monocle Felix used to scan the whole room. The environment shakes, and Adrien is shocked and turns around and looks out the window.
