LUKANETTE S4 - STRIKEBACK - PT 1

'I just can't believe my good friend is really gone, Luka' Mari sighs. Luka squeezes her hand and smiles.

'It will be okay my melody' Luka replies softly, smiling lovingly at her.

Tikki smiles from her purse. 'Luka's right Marinette! He'll be back before you know it! He's just going on a voyage!'

Marinette's Risk mark activates again. 'Of course, Voyage! Marinette may have failed, but Pegabug will bring him back! And together, Viperion and I will go talk to his father! He'll listen to us!'

Luka gasps. 'What?'

'You wanna use the Miraculous of the Horse and teleport yourself, just for that?' Tikki exclaims.

Marinette smiles determinedly. 'I'm ready to risk everything to help my friend, Adrien!' She jumps into a secluded alleyway. 'Tikki, spots on!'

In Gabriel's room, Adrien still searches for his father.

'Father?'

The risk mark activates, and Adrien spots something gleaming on the floor... the monocle Felix used to scan the whole room. The environment shakes, and Adrien is shocked and turns around and looks out the window. He notices Strikeback wandering outside.

Adrien gasps. 'I'll have to talk to my father later!' He runs off to his room.

'Plagg, claws out!' He transforms into Cat Noir and leaps away.

Marinette had just transformed into Ladybug. Luka followed her into the alleyway.

'Melody, are you sure about this?' Luka asked as Ladybug opens her yo-yo to take the Horse Miraculous and wears it upon obtaining it.

'Absolutely! Tikki, Kaalki, uni—' she says.

The heavy stomps of Strikeback disrupt her, and she takes off the glasses.

Ladybug and Luka gasp. 'Okay, I guess we'll have to deal with this small problem first!' She puts the horse miraculous back into her yo-yo.

She takes the snake bracelet out of her yo-yo and gives it to Luka. 'Here, transform now and scope it out for me. We'll keep in touch!' She puts her earpiece from her yo-yo in her ear.

Luka put on the snake bracelet and Sass appeared. 'Sass, scales slither!' he said, transforming into Viperion. He puts the earpiece from his lyre into his ear as they leap away.

Meanwhile, on the Startrain. Felix, posing as Adrien, is looking by the window. Nathalie tries to comfort him.

Nathalie holds Felix's hand. 'Try to make the most out of this trip, Adrien. You're about to discover the world, and then you'll return to all of your friends and your father with fantastic memories to share with them.'

Felix smiles. 'You're right, Nathalie. You have to seize the opportunity when it presents itself to you.'

Lila smiles at him. 'And we'll end up being the best friends in the world, since we're going to see it all together!'

'I hope so with all my heart. Please excuse me for a moment.' Felix says as he gets up and heads for the restroom.

Nathalie steps out for a while as Felix walks away from them with a secret intent. In the lavatory, he equips the Peacock Miraculous and finds the Grimoire's written instructions as pictured in Nathalie's tablet, that he took on his phone.

Felix reads the instructions. 'Ah, here we go. "Attach the brooch." Okay, that's done. "The kwami comes out of the jewel." Hmm...' He grows suspicious upon seeing no kwami in sight. "Say the magic words, 'Duusu, spread my feathers'." Duusu, spread my feathers!'
