SEASON 4 - LUKANETTE

LUKANETTE - FURIOUS FU - PT 6

After Ladybug quickly returns the miracle box to her room and detransforms, she visits Mr Fu and Marianne in the park again.

'The bat and the red beetle were incredible! Paris is always filled with good people ready to devote themselves for the greater good. Like you, Marinette!' Wang Fu smiles.

'You should really thank Marianne, you know. From what I heard; she was the true superhero of the day!' Marinette smiles.

She waves goodbye and then goes back to her room where Su-Han is waiting for her.

He is looking very sheepish, holding the miracle box.

Marinette looks at him with a raised eyebrow. 'Just so you know, for future reference, there is a door downstairs, you might want to consider using that in future before just popping up in my- '

He holds his hand up to silence her. Marinette gulps.

'Involving Marianne in the fight - a human without powers was against the precepts too' he says.

Marinette looks down, saddened.

'This has proven two things: the first thing is that you have the audacity to invent your own rules, and, as crazy as it may seem, somehow they all work.'

Marinette looks up again, surprised.

'The second thing is that your natural instincts tell you who you can trust - an essential quality for a guardian. Whiny Chicken- uh, sorry... Master Fu may not have made such a bad choice after all.'

Marinette smiles.

'The Miracle Box is the mother of all boxes. It's the very first one that was created, and the one that holds the most powerful magic jewels. I cannot imagine what would happen if it were to fall into the wrong hands. But I am going to trust you.'

He hands Marinette the box, she takes it happily. 'I will keep watching you from a distance, but be wary - one failure and I will take the Miracle Box back.'

Marinette nods as she walks over to her special hiding place for the box that Luka made her, inputs the code, and sets it inside.

'I will make the most of my time here in Paris to get accustomed to modern life. How can I be a good guardian if I don't try to understand the world around me?'

'Thank you for trusting me, Master. I have something for you too. I think you're gonna need these.'

She holds up a new pair of shoes, causing Su-Han to look down at his old and worn-out pair.

Marinette and Su-Han share a laugh.

'Farewell for now, guardian!' Su-Han says as he leaps out the window.

Then Luka called her.

'Hey Luka!'

'Hey, I just saw Guardian Von Crankypants leave, is it safe to come up?'

'Sure!' she giggled at the name.

He comes back up to her room.

'Thank you so much for the idea of using Marianne to help destroy the object with the akuma! That was so clever! Even though apparently it broke another one of the precepts...' Marinette said sheepishly.

'I'm sorry my melody! But you do still get to be guardian, right?' Luka asked.

'Yes, for now. But he's watching me from a distance. Don't know if I should be creeped out by that...' she replied, feeling a little uneasy.

'Sorry I had to lie about you knowing Luka' she said as she hugged him. 'I thought if he knew someone else knows that would have put another strike against me' she sighs. 'Hopefully once he trusts me more, I can open up to him about you knowing.'

'It's okay my melody. I understand. Oh, my dad wanted you to come and hear our song we've been working on! I told him I had something came up and we'd come by later!'

'I'd love to! That sounds great!' Marinette replied.

The Kwamis flew out of the box. 'Can we come too?'

'Oh no! Absolutely not! Not this time! I am putting my guardian foot down!' Marinette said.

'Ok, ok, no need to go Guardian Von Crankypants on us, geez!' Trixx said jokingly.

Marinette and Luka laughed. 'Come on, let's go!' Luka said.

Tikki flew into Marinette's purse as they went out and walked over to meet Jagged on his tour bus.

'Sorry we're late Dad!' Luka said.

'No problem! What was the hold up anyway?' Jagged replies.

'Homework!' Marinette said at the same time Luka said 'Dentist appointment!'

'Homework!' Luka said at the same time Marinette said 'Dentist appointment!' and they looked at each other sheepishly.

Jagged smiles. 'Ahh, young love, you don't need an excuse if you want to hang out together, you could have just told me!' he winked.

Marinette and Luka giggled.

'Anyway, let's get rockin'!' Jagged said as he and Luka picked up a guitar each and they played their song for Marinette.

She absolutely loved it.
